Chapter: 64

It's currently Tuesday and I still did not feel well so I stayed home.

I was so bored and just tried to sleep most of the time and when I couldn't sleep anymore I just watched Netflix.

The next day I really wanted to go to school but I decided to rest one more day so I would definitely feel better the next day.

I woke up and felt luckily much better.

For some reason I was excited for school.

I just wanted to see my friends so bad.

That reminded me of Simon.. We were still not on good terms and I was definitely gonna face him multiple times today.

I had to walk to school cause I figured Simon wouldn't be picking me up.

But as I closed the front door and turned around, I saw a car in front of my house.

'Good morning,' Corbyn said who waved at me.

I walked over to the car and then noticed Zach sitting in the passengers seat.

'Good morning guys,' I responded as I hopped in the back seat.

'Thank you for picking me up. You're the best.'

'Of course,' Zach answered.

'It's so boring when you're not at school,' he added what made me smile.

We arrived at school and I walked to my locker to quickly grab some things.

As I was on my way, I stopped as I noticed the posters that hang on every corner of the hallway.

I walked over to the nearby poster;

Yes! You read it right! Our star football team won the golden cup and to share the proudness, we organized a dance! Pull your most extravagant outfits out of the closet and    dance the night away this Friday evening!

A DANCE?!

I almost sprinted towards the 'squad'.

It's still crazy how we went from hating each other to being a friend group.

'Why did no one tell me there is a dance, TOMORROW EVENING?!' I almost screamed at them.

'Didn't you know that?' Jonah asked confused.

'Obviously not!'

'Oh,' Jonah responded bluntly.

'I don't even have a dress!' I said panicking.

'We can still get you one,' Daniel responded.

'Simon had promised me this absolutely gorgeous dress... I totally fell in love with it the second I saw it...' I said as I imagined myself in the dress looking drop, dead, gorgeous.
