Chapter: 29

After detention, Daniel and I went home.

I dropped him off at a corner close to his house so he wouldn't have to walk that far.

Then I drove back home and entered the house.

My mom told me she had been called in on work so I was unfortunately alone for the evening.

It was the weekend and I didn't want to be alone. So I texted Simon, hoping he was feeling better so I could come over.

Message || Simon🥴

Jasmine: Hey bestie, are you feeling a bit better?

Simon: Yeah, a little. Your chocolate did wonders.

Jasmine: I already knew that 😌 but I'm glad you're feeling a bit better.
Jasmine: Can I come over? My mom is at work again and I don't wanna be alone the whole night.

Simon: You are always welcome Jas :)

Jasmine: I'll be there in 10!!

Simon: See ya x

I was so glad that I could hang out with Simon.
I jumped off the couch in excitement and threw on my coat.

My mom took the car so I had to walk, but it wasn't that bad, getting some fresh air.

I arrived literally about 5 minutes later.

I rang the bell, and Simon opened the door.

'Heyy girl!' Simon greeted me as usual.

'Heyy,' I responded and gave him a hug.

'You're looking way better,' I said as I walked into the living room.

'Duhh,' Simon answered and did a sarcastic hair flip.

I laughed and sat down on the couch.

'I was planning on watching this movie on my own,' Simon responded as he sat down besides me. 'But now we can watch it together.'

'Great!' I answered excited.

Simon grabbed the remote and turned on the tv.

When we we're halfway through the movie, we took a little break.

'I grab the snacks!' I said and got up.

'Not for me,' Simon answered and got up. 'I'm not feeling that well. I'm just gonna go upstairs, but you can finish the movie.'

'Alright, goodnight,' I answered with a sad face and gave him a hug.

'You can come to bed whenever you want,' Simon said as he slowly walked upstairs.

'I will!' I responded and walked into the kitchen.

I was looking for the snacks in the drawers when I suddenly felt a pair of arms wrapping around my waist.

'What are you looking for?' Daniel asked softly.

'Some snacks,' I responded as I turned around in his grip.
