Chapter: 54

Out of a sudden, the door swings open...

Jonah's head appeared in the door opening.

'Jonah!' I screamed as I hold the pants in front of my bare legs.

'What? It's not like I've not seen it before,' he said nonchalant as he walks in to get his other shoe.

'What do you mean?' I ask confused.

'For some reason, you like to sleep with your butt out of the sheets,' Jonah said as he slipped his foot in his shoe.

'I do not do that!' I answered and frowned my eyebrows.

'Yes. You do,' Jonah answered.

I rolled my eyes at him, as he just went on with tying his shoes.

'Are you not gonna leave?' I ask him, surprised by the way he was still sitting there like nothing had happened.

'Oh, you want me to?'

'Yes,' I answered with wide eyes.

'Oh, you could've just asked,' he responded and walked out of the cabin.

'Why can't I just change in peace?' I asked myself.

I rolled my eyes, once again and finished getting dressed.

I mean, I could've seen it all coming. I'm staying in a cabin with 5 boys, what do you expect?

***
I walk out of the cabin and meet Jonah, Jack and Daniel a little bit further.

We all walked together to the hall. As we entered, I saw Corbyn waving his hands in the air saying we should sit with him and Zach.

And so we did.

'I'm so excited for canoeing,' I said and took a bite of my sandwich after.

'Same,' Jack nodded.

'Wanna go together Corbyn? I'm like, an expert when it comes to canoeing,' I said as I gave him a sarcastic wink.

'Sorry, me and Zach are a team,' Corbyn answered as he shrugged.

I looked over at Jonah and Jack. They were obviously going together. There was no need to ask that.

'Then we'll go together I guess,' Daniel said bluntly as he focused on his food in front of him.

I slightly nodded like I didn't care, but of course I was excited that I got to go with Daniel.

After we finished our breakfast, we got called to the lake to prepare.

First, we got instructions and stuff and after that we got our gear.

The instructor warned us that the river was wilder than you would think, so that we had to be careful.

'It was a lie,' I whispered to Daniel as the rest of the guys stood in front of us.
