Chapter: 47

Guess the bus ride was not gonna be boring after all..

And I was right, I laughed my ass off with Corbyn. He's hilarious and so goofy.

'I have an announcement to make!' a teacher suddenly said as he stood up from his bench.

Everyone immediately stopped talking.

'The school board has made the decision that seniors and juniors are not allowed to sleep in one cabin,' he clarified with a loud voice.

Everyone started talking again the minute after the teacher was done.

'Nooo,' I said and gave Corbyn a sad look.

'It's okay,' Corbyn answered with a little smile.

'It's not. With who are you gonna stay now?' I asked a little concerned.

'I heard that there's still a spot with Jonah, Jack and Daniel, so imma be fine,' Corbyn responded confidently.

'Alright then. But I'm gonna miss you in our cabin. I'm visiting very often,' I said what caused Corbyn to let out a cute laugh.

I meant that of course. Daniel would also be there, so that's convenient.

'You're always welcome,' Corbyn said as he wrapped one arm around me to give me a hug.

The bus ride lasted for another hour, or so.

As we were longer on the road, we drove further away from civilized world.

The bus had turned around and drove further on a sketchy, dirt road, in the middle of the forest.

We had now arrived and I could see the cabins in the distance.

'We're here! Everyone get out of the bus one by one, and check if you have everything!' the teacher said and Corbyn and I got up because we sat in the front.

We walked out of the bus and picked up our luggage that was stored in a space under the bus.

We waited for everyone to get out of the bus.

A little while later, I saw Simon and Dylan walking towards us.

Corbyn had already left to arrange things with Daniel, Jonah and Jack. So I was waiting there with Zach.

'We have an open spot so I figured that Dylan could sleep with us,' Simon said, without asking.

'Okay,' I said, not wanting to be rude, but I was not looking forward to it.

Zach just shrugged. I knew he didn't like it either.

We got told that we could look for a cabin ourselves.

We started to walk and accidentally mixed up with Jonah, Daniel, Corbyn and Jack.

I was walking next to Corbyn and Zach besides Jonah.

We saw 2 cabins in the distance that were not that far from each other.

Suddenly, Jonah started to run.
