Chapter: 37

On our way home, Daniel almost fell in the bushes and I almost tripped over a loose tile, but besides that, we arrived both completely intact.

Daniel knows that he isn't allowed to drink as much as he did back in Portland, and I think it was perfect that he came with me, otherwise he would've drunk too much.

Daniel searched for his key and opened the front door.

As soon as we got in, there was laying a note on the kitchen table with the text;
Unexpectedly got invited for a drink at the office, don't make it too late, tomorrow is a school day!!

'So we're home alone,..' Daniel said.

'The first time we're at your house while nobody else is around,' I clarified.

We grabbed something to drink first and then went upstairs.

'Netflix?' Daniel asked before grabbing the remote.

'Netflix!' I confirmed.

We couldn't decide on what we wanted to watch, what ended in us just putting some music on and talking as always.

I was getting cold and Daniel had already wrapped his arms around me but it didn't help.

'Do you mind me getting under your sheets, I mean, it's kinda personal or something,' I asked, literally not knowing how to act.

'Of course! If you don't mind me joining you,' Daniel said while pouring his lip.

He was now looking straight into my eyes.

I looked straight in his bright blue ocean eyes as well.

Wow.

They're so beautiful.

This whole boy is so beautiful.

Then my eyes quickly switched over to his lips.

I felt my cheeks turn a bit red and I looked at his eyes again.

Within seconds my lips were against his and my hands were around his neck.

I felt his hands go down from my back to my hips.

Is this going to happen here and right now?

I hovered over him and the kiss turned into a more passionate and caring kiss.

As soon as I felt Daniel reaching for my butt I froze.

'We can't not do this right now Daniel,' I said and noticed his face turning in a sad look.

'Noo, of course we can wait,' he said, almost looking guilty as if he did something he shouldn't have done.

'We are only doing this if we both are ready for it,' he added, what made me smile.

He's such a sweetheart.

'Actually,.. it's just that Simon can come home every second and I don't want him to caught us like this,' I said not knowing how to act.

'Why is Simon always ruining everything?!' Daniel suddenly exclaimed.

'I just want to be with you Jas. I don't want to whisper to you, cause others might notice we like each other. I want to be able to kiss you in public and hug you whenever I want,...but I know that it is for the best,' he said kinda sad.

'I wish it was different too Dani,' I said,
and added,
'but stop with the sad shit now, we know we can't do anything about it, let's get ready for bed.'

Pov: Daniel

We were almost that far, and then there is Simon again who ruins it all.

It's not Jasmine her fault, but still, I wish we could do the things we can't do now because of freaking Simon.

As we were getting up to get ready, I wanted to ask one little thing.

'Are you sleeping here tonight,' I said, really hoping she would say yes and I could cuddle with her all night.

'Dani, as bad as I would want that, I can't, Simon will definitely notice that,' Jas responded what disappointed me, of course.

We went to the bathroom and were just goofing around a little.

'Let's make a photo,' Jas said randomly.

'What. Now?' I asked confused.

'Yes now!! We don't have any photos together Dani!' she said while proving a point.

'Okay, wait, how are we doing this?' I asked as I tried to set up my phone with a timer.

'No not like that you dummy, we can make a mirror selfie,' she responded, what actually made much more sense.

We made a couple of photos.

One where we were hugging,.. it was quite cute... one where we both pretended to be rock stars and many more.

'Time to brush our teeth,' I said.

'And take off our makeup,' Jas added.

'I take that back, you are this pretty by yourself,' Jasmine said as she looked up at me.

It made me smile so bad, but I didn't want to show that off so I quickly gave her a peck on the lips and after that I looked for my toothpaste.

That's when we heard a door shut on the same floor.

Shit. Simon.

'He might have heard us and realized we were together and now he is mad at me and,... oh shit I need to go there,' Jasmine said totally panicking.

Pov: Simon

The party was getting kinda lame so me and Dylan decided to leave.

We were getting closer and closer.

I think I actually like this guy, maybe, possibly.

'That friend of yours told me to bring you home safely, so that's what I'm gonna do,' Dylan said on a caring tone.

'You don't have to, I can walk,' I responded.

'I want to,' he said and we made our way to the car.

As soon as we arrived at my house I didn't want to leave the car.

'I mean.. now you're here,.. you might as well come in?' I asked kinda shy, not knowing what his response would be.

'Really? I thought that friend of yours was staying over,' Dylan responded.

Fuck. I totally forgot about Jas.

What if this is my only chance with Dylan?

I don't want to fuck this up already.

'Don't worry about it, she can sleep in the guest room, she basically lives at my house,' I said.

We don't even have a guest room anymore.

The guest room is turned into Daniel's room.

Oh god, this is not gonna end well.

We entered the house and tried to be silent so we wouldn't wake anyone who was possibly asleep already.

I saw that the door of my room was opened but the lights were off, that means that Jasmine wasn't here, because she can't sleep with the door opened.

We quickly got in and I closed the door directly behind me.

That's when someone stormed into the room..

Pov: Jasmine

'Jas, please calm down a little. He'll understand us if we explain it,' Daniel said, trying to reassure me.

'Daniel, we fucked up. He is my best friend. I should have told him in the first place,' I said still panicking.

'I need to go to him,' I added and left the bathroom.

I stormed into his room and said:

'I'm so sorr.....'
