Chapter: 65

I decided to immediately drop off the dress, cause Jas was probably totally stressed, because she didn't have anything to wear.

I knocked on her door and waited with the box with the dress in my hand.

Jas opened the door and looked very surprised.

'I got you a little something,' I said as I handed her the box.

'Dani...that's so sweet,' Jas answered as she pouted her lip.

'But I have to go, see you tomorrow,' I said quickly and pecked her on the lips as a confused 'oh-' escaped her mouth.

I quickly jumped into the car and went back home.

Today was the day of the dance.

I got woken up by the tweeting birds outside.

No alarm today, because we had no school.

The committee of the dance had to prepare everything for tonight, so they couldn't use hysterical teenagers in the hallways.

I didn't mind it at all, cause it gave me more time to sleep and of course more time to get myself ready for the unexpected dance.

I just started my day off simple.

Took a long shower, made myself breakfast and after that watched some netflix.

I decided to open my closet where I hung up the beautiful dress that Daniel gave me last night and just look at it for a while.

I still wonder how he got that dress, but what a masterpiece.

Simon made this?

My best friend made this?

You mean my best friend, who I don't talk to anymore, made this and my boyfriend took it from him?

That sounds about right.

I planned enough time to get myself ready, cause normally Simon would do my hair, but today it was all by me.

As soon as the afternoon arrived, I started doing my hair.

It took a couple of hours, so I just watched Netflix in the meanwhile.

I had dinner with my parents and after that I started to do my makeup and the rest of the things I needed to do.

When I finished all of that, it was time to put on the dress.

I put myself in the dress and tied up the back zipper before turning around to face the mirror.

Wow.

' Honestly, Jas, you're looking hot in that dress,' I thought by myself.

A bit of self love is good from time to time.

I had 30 more minutes to completely finish making myself ready before Daniel would come and pick me up.

The bell rang and I ran downstairs.

As I opened the door my jaw dropped.

'Hey there,' Daniel said what snapped me out of my gaze.

'You look so handsome, my god,' I said while still looking at him, almost drooling.

'You don't look that bad yourself,' he said before quickly pecking my lips.

That's when my dad walked into the hall.

'Sorry to interrupt your little moment, but Karen wants me to take some photos of you guys together,' he said while grabbing his camera out of the storage room.

'Yeez no dad, we're outta here,' I said before quickly grabbing my purse, putting on my heels and grabbing Daniel's hand.

'Have fun guys! Not too drunk!!' he said jokingly.

I laughed at his joke and Daniel and I walked over to the car.

He opened the door for me and waited for me to get in to close it behind me again.

As soon as Daniel got behind the wheel, he turned on the music and we jammed until we arrived at the school.

A lot of cars were parked in the parking lot already and the path towards the entrance was decorated with balloons and flowers.

Daniel opened the door of the car for me again to get out and reached his hand out for me to grab it.

As I stood besides the car, he didn't close the door right away...

'What are you looking at?' I said while waving my hand in front of Daniel his face to break the gaze he was in.

'You just look so so gorgeous Jas, I just can't stop looking at you,' he said with an adorable look on his face.

'Awe stop it, you're gonna make me blush,' I said as I hold my cheeks.

'You're cute when you blush,' Daniel said while now our faces were only inches apart.

He quickly planted a kiss on my nose and closed the door of the car.

As we approached the path, the people from the dance committee welcomed us before we were about to enter the school building.

The big hallways were filled with some people, but the real party was going in the sports hall.

'You go in first, I'll be there in a couple minutes,' I told Daniel, so we wouldn't be too obvious of course.

I just went to the bathroom where some other girls were doing their makeup, and quickly touched up my lipstick.

As I left the bathroom and entered the big hall, I noticed Corbyn and Zach standing on the left with Jonah and Jack, directly next to the punch.

Daniel had joined them already as well.

Of course they're already drinking...

'Jas...' I heard Corbyn say when I approached them.

'You look absolutely stunning,' he added.

'I agree, I told you that anything would look good on you Jas,' Jack said what made me feel my cheeks warm up a little.

I blushed at the compliments and as I turned my head to the side, I saw Simon coming my way..

'That dress looks beautiful on you Jas..' Simon said with a soft voice.

'Thanks to you,' I responded with a little laugh.

'I'm so sorry. I should've picked it up myself...' I said a little awkward.

'It's okay. I'm so sorry for acting like an asshole. I should've never put you on the second place..'

'I also want you to know that I accept you and Daniel as a couple, even though I think he's a dick,' Simon said as he showed his middle finger to Daniel, who did the same in return.

'I'm- You- What?' I answered totally confused.

'You changed him in a better person,' Simon responded with a smile.

'I love you,' is the only thing I could say, not knowing how Simon found about all of this but glad that he did.

Simon and I immediately hugged each other.

'I'm gonna cry,' I said as we disconnected.

'Me too,' Simon added as he tried to dry his tears that started to form in his eyes with his hands.

'So, we are dating!' I exclaimed as I turned to the rest of the group and wrapped my arm around Daniel his neck.

'I already knew that,' Jonah responded.

'Same. Jonah told me immediately,' Jack added.

'Yeah I knew too, I saw them sneaking out while we were on camp,' Corbyn said with a little laugh.

We all looked at Zach who was next in the row...
