Chapter: 31

The weekend is over and it's time for school again..

The bell rang and I got out of my seat.

'Before you all leave, I have an announcement,' the teacher said.

I stopped and listened to what he had to say.

'This years trip is gonna be a little different. The seniors are joining us,' the teacher explained but had to stop because all the girls went crazy.

'We're gonna do all sorts of activities such as canoeing. We're leaving next week on Wednesday and we'll be back by Friday. Make sure you'll have a group to stay with in a cabin. That's it, if you have any-'

The teacher stopped talking because everyone left the classroom already.

Simon and Zach walked besides me.

'Ugh, I hate seniors,' Simon said as we walked towards my locker.

'Same,' I responded.

I didn't like Jack, Jonah and the football guys for example, but I was so excited that I get to hang out with Corbyn and maybe Daniel.

I opened my locker and Corbyn joined our group shortly after.

'Guys! We have to stay in a cabin together! That's gonna be so much fun!' Corbyn said super enthusiastic.

His enthusiasm is the cutest thing ever.

'Yes! I would love to,' I responded excited as well.

'What about Jonah, Jack and Daniel?' Zach asked as he looked at Corbyn.

'I'm not gonna stay with them!' Simon immediately responded.

'I'm not gonna stay with them either guys. I guess you have to choose..' I added while looking at Zach and Corbyn.

I couldn't help but noticed Daniel standing a bit further down the hall.

He looked at me and gave me a sneaky smile.

I closed my locker after the bell rang.

I crossed Daniel in the hall and returned the little smile.

I walked into the next class with Zach and Simon and checked my phone before the lesson started and saw I got a text from Daniel.

Message || Dani

Daniel: Did you hear that we're going on a trip together? 😏

Jasmine: I did. At these moments I wish our relationship was public 🥴

Daniel: Same.. But we'll figure something out.

I smiled at Daniel's text and put my phone away as soon as the class was about to start.

After class, I went to my locker.

I was done but I had math today and I found it really difficult, so I wanted to ask Corbyn for help.

I closed my locker and found him standing down the hall, talking to Zach.

I walked over to them and spoke up;

'Hey guys!'

Corbyn and Zach turned around to face me.

'I was wondering if you could help me with math,' I said looking at Corbyn.

'Sure but Zach and I were gonna hang out actually but you can join if you want to,' Corbyn responded.

'Yeah, if you guys don't mind..' I answered.
