Chapter: 23

Nothing exciting went down at school. One of the first days though.

After school I went to Simon's house to study together.

But we ended up just talking about boys and stuff. Oops.

'How are you still not craving boy attention?' Simon asked as he laid on his bed.

'I'm just, not. All boys are dicks,' I responded while sitting in Simon's hanging chair.

'That's not true. All boys have dicks. Zach and Corbyn are cute.'

'Zach and Corbyn are my friends Simon,' I responded and rolled my eyes playfully.

'Alright, alright,' Simon said while putting his hands up.

'I'm just saying, you deserve a cute boy who treats you well.'

'Thanks, that's sweet. But I have you right!'

'Jas, ew. That's not the same,' Simon said with a disgusting face.

'No, that's not what I meant. It's just that I can rely on you and I genuinely love you,' I responded.

'Awe girl come here!' Simon answered with open arms.

I hopped out of the chair and basically jumped into his arms.

We just stayed like that for a while. Cuddling. Simon really felt like the big brother I never had.

'It's time,' Simon suddenly said way too dramatic.

I got up and let out a sigh.

'I hate detention,' I said while rolling my eyes.

'I get it. But you'll be fine. Don't let Mr. asshole get to you alright?'

'I won't,' I answered with a little smile.

As I walked out of Simon's room, I bumped into Daniel.

'Hey,' I said awkwardly.

'Hi,' Daniel responded, also a little shy.

Daniel being shy. Can you believe that?!

'I can give you a ride if you want,' I offered.

'Thanks, that would be great actually. Simon was gonna let me walk again,' Daniel responded while rolling his eyes.

'Why am I not surprised by that,' I said with a laugh.

We went downstairs and hopped into the car.

I turned on the radio cause we both didn't know what to say.

After a short ride, we arrived at school.

'I wonder what the headmaster is gonna come up with now,' I said a little annoyed.

'Imagine him just saying: 'I don't have any work for you guys, go home.' That would make my day,' he responded.

'Yeah, but he would never.'

'You're probably right,' Daniel said with a little laugh.
