Chapter: 32

I went downstairs and grabbed a jacket before leaving the house...

Daniel and I walked to the lake. The dark forest was kinda scary but I was with Daniel so I felt pretty safe.

We arrived at the lake and sat down at the end of the jetty.

'Why did I ever think you weren't romantic,' I said as I looked at Daniel, who was struggling to lid the candles.

'I don't know. You tell me,' Daniel responded as the last candle finally caught the flame.

'You were a dick to me, remember?' I said reminding him.

'Oh yeah, that's probably why,' he answered with a little laugh.

'I regret that though,' he added as he looked at the little waves in the water.

'It's okay,' I answered and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

His head immediately turned toward me.

He looked so handsome in the candle light. I want to scream to the world that this guy is my boyfriend so bad..

Well, is he my boyfriend?

Do we have a relationship now?

'I love you,' I suddenly said.

Daniel his eyes widened as he heard my words.

'Woooow. I just really said that huh?'

'Yeah you did...' Daniel answered shocked.

'Shit. That was probably way too early. Did I freak you out because-' I said panicking.

'Hey hey, it's okay,' Daniel said and grabbed my hands to calm me down.

I looked into his eyes as he squeezed my hands a bit.

We slowly came closer and I felt his lips on mine in a soft way.

Daniel let go of one of my hands and placed his hand on my cheek while the passionate kiss went on. Damn, he was good at this.

We disconnected after a hot minute.

A little breeze touched my skin what caused chills all over my body.

I wrapped my arms around my body to warm up but it wasn't really working.

Daniel noticed it and wrapped one arm around me. It didn't help that much but for some reason I forgot about it.

Pov: Daniel

Jasmine and I haven't said much after she told me she loved me. I must admit, that it really scared me. How does she know she loves me already? Why didn't I say it back? Do I already love her? What if I end up hurting her? So many questions..

I was sunken in my thought that I totally forgot about the time. I had just been staring at the water.

That's also when I noticed that Jasmine's head was laying on my shoulder. A little snore escaped her mouth.
