I am busy playing Subway Surfers while sitting on the couch comfortably when I decided to look at my phone. In-unlock ko ito at tinitigan ang lalaking nasa wallpaper ko.. I miss you, Sed. Oh dangs, stop thinking about him!

I was about to throw it on mh bed when I saw someone calling me..

[Ate Cerine?] Loise said on the other line.

"Hi, Loise." I answered. God, how I miss her! It's been a while since the last time I talked to her. Hindi pa kasi ako handang kumausap ng taong konektado o nasa barkada. But I can't take it anymore, ang hirap alisin sa sistema mo ang mga taong napamahal na sa'yo..

[How are you? Where are you? I miss you..] she said softly.

I chuckled lightly, "I miss you, too, dear." I sighed before continuing. "I'm sorry for being distant this past few weeks. I hope you understand. I'm currently staying here in Palawan. I'm staying with my cousin na kagagaling lang ng France."

[Ohh..] she paused, then continued, [It's fine, Ate Cerine. I know where you're coming from.. But, not that I'm meddling, are you still mad at my brother?] I was taken aback by her question. Mahirap sagutin kahit alam ko sa sarili ko kung ano ang desisyon ko.

"I.. I.. Honestly, i'm atill not ready to face him." And again, bumuntong hininga ako. "I know my reason is undeniably petty, but damn this pain. I'm jealous, Loise, she's the first love. The first promise. The first.." I stopped when I felt a tear escaped from my eye. Traitors.

[Oh God, are you crying Ate Cerine? Hey, I didn't mean to- HEY!!]

I stopped when I heard Loise growled. "Is everything alright, Loise?"

[HEY! Saan ka pupunta? Isama mo ako! Kuya, ang boring dito! Ugh!] maktol ni Loise sa kabilang linya. Bigla ay kinabahan ako. Was that Sedric?

"Uhm, Loise.."

He's eavesdropping? Meaning narinig niya kaya yung mga pinagusapan namin ni Loise? Ay, wait, hindi naman naka-loudspeaker si Loise, di ba? Okay this is frustrating!

Calm the fudge down, Zaree Cerine! Hindi ka niya makikita. Hindi niya malalaman kung san ka naglalagi. Think positive!

On that same day, I did everything para lang mawala sa isip ko yung nangyari. Sinamahan ako ni Joey, my cousin that I'm talking about, na magliwaliw at i-explore ang Palawan.

Nakasakay na kami ngayon sa isang bangka, pabalik sa isla kung saan narron ang resthouse namin nang maalala ko ang huling paguusap namin ni Sedric..

"What are you doing here?" I asked when I saw him standing behind me. I'm here at Opal, drinking my heart out. It's been, what? Days? Weeks? I lost count.

"Itigil mo na yan." He used his warning tone to stop me, at nagtagalog pa siya! But no, I'm too broken to listen. So I faced the counter again and grabbed my glass. "I SAID STOP THAT, ZAREE!"
