CHANGE TWENTY - THREE : COLD PAIN.

Sabrina's POV :

I closed my eyes as I finish my milk, its been a tiring day. Napahawak ako sa sintido ko at minasahe ito, “Why does the world seems to be so unfair?” I whispered as I try to forget everything that bugs me.

I tried composing myself, inub-ob ko ung sarili ko sa lamesa. I closed my eyes and in an instant, I remembered everything that happened earlier.

“Girlfriend, I don’t know but I have this thought that sooner or later, after all this rainbows and love we had right now it will all come to an end. That everything about us is temporary. That we were not meant to be together.”

 

I looked at him, trying to find the joke in what he said but there’s no hint of it.

 

“Anong gusto mong sabihin? Are you giving up?” I asked.

 

He shook his head, “No, I’m not girlfriend, what I’m pointing out is pano pag hindi pala tayo ung para sa isa’t isa? That I’m not worth it? Na after all the things we’ve done just to be together, hindi rin pala tayo pwede?”

 

I bit my lower lip. “Why are you being so negative right now?”

 

He closes his eyes, “I don’t know, I really don’t know why I’m acting like this.”

 

“Stop Jhano. Hindi na ko natutuwa.”

 

“I’m sorry. I’m sorry. Shouldn’t have said it.”

 

I cupped his face and made him look at me. “If you’re worried of what our future will be, don’t. Wag mong isipin ung mangyayari, isipin mo ung mga nangyayari ngayon. What matters know is today, don’t worry about the future. If were not meant to be, its okay. Atleast I had the chance to be with you. Stop worrying.”

 

He smiles, “You’re right. I’ll just continue courting you, just continue loving you.” Saka niya ko niyakap ng mahigpit. “I’m sorry for ahaving negative thoughts.”

 

“Its okay, siguro you’re just having a rough time. I’m yours, don’t worry.”

 

“Damn, I love you.”

 

“Hoy ate,” Napaangat ako ng ulo ko saka tumingin kay Gino, he was glaring at me. “Ayan na ba ung bago mong kwarto?”

“I’m not sleeping.”

“Then what?”
