CHANGE FORTY – EIGHT : UNDER THE SKY.

Sabrina's POV :

"You need to go back, kailangan mong magpahinga." I said as I gaze at him but he didn't answer instead he stared at me, like he was memorizing every features of my face, every angle and every shade.

He then points his finger on my nose saka siya ngumiti. I 'tsk'-ed saka inalis ung kamay niya, "Nakikinig ka ba sakin?" I ask.

"Calm down, love." He whispered.

Umiling ako, "No, kailangan mong bumalik ng hospital Nathan. Hindi ka pa magaling." I said, na stress na ko. Ako ung nahihirapan sa kalagayan niya.

He looks at me, "No need. I'm okay."

"No, you're not." I glared at him.

"Believe me, I am."

"Nathan," I called out his name.

"I'm okay, Tanya. No need to worry. Just stay here beside me and I'll be fine, after all you're my cure." I bit my lower lip as I stop myself from giggling. Ghad this guy.

I look up the sky, I'm guessing it's around 4am. Nakahiga kami sa hood ng kotse niya, his left arm serves as my pillow while his other arm rests. It might sound crazy but after that kiss, I just don't want to end this day.

"You're smiling." He said kaya napatingin ako sa kanya.

"Am I?"

He smiles, "Yes."

Napangiti ako lalo saka umiling, "I just thought that you said you'd give up on me yet you're here." I really do remember that day he told me he'll stop. Nasaktan ako pero siguro ganon talaga kapag nasaktan ng sobra, mahirap makarecover.

"Oh, you have no idea." He winks. "I won't give up on you, I never will. You know how much I love you, you should have thought na kahit kailan, hinding hindi ako susuko sayo." His tagalog, goodness.

"Kahit kailan?"

He nods, "I didn't give up when you and DJ were dating." There was a hint of bitterness and jealousy in his tone kaya natawa ako. "Why are you laughing?"

I shook my head, "Jealous?"

"Who wouldn't be jealous?" He asks.

I nuzzled my face on his neck saka lalo siyang niyakap, "Stop being jealous, it's over." I said.

"I know this annoys you but I'm sorry for all the troubles I've cost." He said, nanatili akong tahimik. I closed my eyes as I remember every problems I have. After this, I have to face it all again. That's why, I just wish this would never end.

"Bakit kayo nagsinungaling sakin?" I ask as my voice crack. I'm starting to cry again, why do I feel so vulnerable right now? It took me a lot of courage to ask him that, maybe I need to listen on his side. Maybe just maybe something would change.

Naramdaman ko ung paghigpit ng yakap niya sakin. "Are you sure you want to know?" Tumango ako, "Can you handle it?"

I nod saka tumingin sa kanya, "Nathan, please?"

He stares at me for a minute, looks at the sky and he sighs, "It was never our or my intention at all. You see, the time when that fckin' gang knew that you're my girlfriend, they grabbed the chance to make you their bait." He stops and glance at me asking my permission to continue kaya tumango na lang ako.
