The quiet park was one of Yeji's favourite places.

The wind danced through the air, rustling the trees like a playful child. Bird nests were nestled in the tall trees, though its residents seemed to be missing. An occasional trickle of people went through the park, and Yeji sat there, from morning till late afternoon, with nothing but her iPod, just observing the peace and tranquillity, smelling the roses, one would say, quite literally. A variety of flower species bloomed around her, some of the scents strong and overpowering, some subtle yet sweet. The soft quacks of the resident ducks were cute and gentle, as they harassed Yeji for breadcrumbs. She smiled at the ducks. "I don't have anything for you, sorry," She murmured to them, the mother duck ruffling her feathers indignantly. If ducks could roll their eyes, the ducklings surely would have been rolling theirs. The ducklings that trailed behind their mother, much to Yeji's surprise, grew slowly, but surely bigger, and bigger, until they were the same size as their own mother. Yeji gasped. She shook her head. This must be a hallucination, she thought desperately to herself. But when the mother duck quacked in alarm, causing her to feel startled and confused. How... What?

A young lady, barely thirty, walked past her bench, completely unaware of the whole situation.

But to Indie's horror and confusion, the lady's hair slowly grew long streaks of silvery-white, wrinkles on her young face becoming more prominent. Her hands, clutching an ornate handbag, shrivelled up like old fruits. Sharp-eyed Yeji noticed, her heart beating frantically, and she gripped a hand to her head. Was this a hallucination? Why did it feel so real? There was one thing she was very certain about: she was going crazy.
