They were allowed on one rescue mission, one to go to the military base Yuna was captured in. Their target was the group of gifted boys that were stuck in there, Wonwoo and his friends. "No problem, right?" Soobin asked nervously. Yeji said easily, "We've been in there, it'll be fine."

-

"This was very poorly thought out, Taehyun."

"Well, I didn't see you planning anything just now, Kai."

"Guys we know you are excellent strategists but shut up."

"We enter at the count of three. One, two- Yeonjun!"

Yeji shot right past them alongside Yeonjun, and the duo entered the compound smoothly, and then promptly triggered the alarm.

Taehyun swore, then ushered everyone in, "That was great."

As soon as they dropped down from the wire fence, Yeji unfolded a layout of the building. "Six of them are in the cells we went to last time and the other seven are in the restricted zone. Half of us go to the six and the other half go to the seven."

"Why are we going through the plan in the military compound?"

"Where did you get that plan?"

"I can't believe there's thirteen of them."

"Who cares, just go."

-

Taehyun, Jisu, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna crept through the hallways of the brightly lit building, the glaring fluorescent lights casting distorted shadows.

"Sure brings back memories," Yuna muttered as they walked past what looked like her cell.

And next to that cell was Wonwoo. He was curled up on the floor, an ugly purple bruise blossoming on his forehead, but he grinned excitedly when he saw them. "I remember you," He said mildly.

"We're here to help you," Taehyun told him.

Wonwoo flicked his eyebrow up, "And those crackheads?" He gestured to the adjoining cell, where five people were lying down, asleep.

"Why are they all in one cell?" Yuna asked.

"Ha, the humans believe they have no good use for them, so might as well save space."

One of the snoozing boys opened one eye, then jerked up and squinted at the five. "Huh," The boy said sleepily, "You're new."

"That's Jeonghan," Wonwoo introduced, "And Seungcheol, Jisoo, Soonyoung and Seungkwan."

The four boys continued to slumber, while Jeonghan stood slowly. "Are they busting us out or not?" He asked Wonwoo. "Yes, we are," Jisu said quickly. Seungkwan rolled over, snoring. The sleeping four were promptly kicked by the standing boy, who was startled awake. Chaeryeong held her hands to the glass and they collected into a ball that fits into her palms perfectly.

"Great, now let's go."

-

The other five, Soobin, Beomgyu, Yeji, Yeonjun and Kai sneaked past the guards pretty easily.

"You didn't kill them right."

"Of course not. They'll just wake up with a bruise."

"Very well then."

The metal door was incredibly thick and strong as if prepared for an earthquake.

"Damn," Yeji said, "Wonder who's in that."

Kai pressed his palms to the door, and whistled softly, "It's thicker than Taehyun's skull."

"That's not saying much, considering your skull is thicker than Taehyun's."

"Whatever."

"Think you can shift it?"

"Maybe, let's see."

One good shift later, they stepped in and froze. It was worse than the cells below, Everyone was encased in a metal coffin-shaped standing box, except for one in a glass box.

"Hi!" One boy said cheerfully, covered in flour. "Are you here to get us out?"

Another boy tried to mutter something through his gag. The first boy waved him off, "Yes, Jihoon we know you're tired, can you get us out?"

Kai slumped down clutching his arm, which was adorned with a brilliant bleeding cut. "He's hurt," A third boy said.

"No shit Sherlock," Kai choked out.

"I can try to help him, let me out."

Soobin and Beomgyu rested their hands on Kai's shoulder, Beomgyu whispering a slight "Sorry", they copied his power and got to work. The boy ran up to them rubbing his wrists, grey streaks hanging in his hair. "Okay," He breathed, then held Kai's hand and closed his eyes. As Kai's skin began creeping over the cut slightly, another lock of the boy's hair turned an ashy grey. The boy frowned, "I can't completely close it somehow, but at least he wouldn't bleed too much now."
"Thanks," Kai muttered.

Soobin and Beomgyu were having the time of their lives, smashing locks and breaking chains until all seven were out. "Thanks for getting us out," The first boy, dusty powder drifting off his shoulders, said gratefully, "I'm Seokmin, the one that healed him is Minghao, shorty over here is Jihoon-"

"I swear to god Lee Seokmin-"

The boy in the glass box stepped forward. "I'm Mingyu," He continued, "And we need to go."

-

They met the other five in the yard as they sprinted across towards the barbed wire fence.

"Did you trigger the alarm again?" Taehyun shouted at Kai.

"Maybe?"

Yuna was more concerned, "What did you shift? Why is there so much blood on your-"

"I'm fine, don't worry-"

"We get it, you two lovebirds, but can we focus on not getting killed? Because that would be great-duck!"

"Where?"

Jisu yanked Yuna down as a projectile sailed over their heads.

"Wow, they're angry," Seokmin commented, as if they were throwing paper and not bullets.

"Get over the fence," Wonwoo urged, "There's a reason they were in the restricted zone."

A blue circle flashed under their feet and they dropped through it and landed on the opposite side of the fence, causing them to stumble and stagger. A boy with glowing blue eyes flicked his fingers and the portal closed, then said, "Sorry, but we'll handle this. Take it as a gesture of gratitude." All the boys were completely at ease, studying the approaching army with mild interest.

Mingyu blinked, "Chan, you wanna a go or do you want Jihoon to-"

"Let them scissors-paper-stone it out."

Yuna whispered softly, "Is this the right time for them to-"

"Jihoon wins."

"Damn it."

"It's okay Chan, you'll get a shot."

Jihoon let out a shrill whistle that seemed to travel for miles, biting at their ears, even though they weren't the receivers of the blast and the soldiers fell to the ground, groaning and clawing their ears.

"Hm, you did better last time Jihoon-"

"Shut up you-"

"Let's go, you idiots."

"Are you kids going to the village too?" Jeonghan asked.

Taehyun replied, "We came from the village."

The glowing-eyes boy opened a small portal once more, reaching in and grabbing a notebook, similar to the one Taehyun had. "That's great," He chirped, "Let's go then."
