Makes for 4 Servings
Ingredients:
2 sticks of softened butter
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
2 teaspoons of garlic powder
2 tablespoon of fresh chives
1/2 cup of mozzarella and provolone cheese
2 bacon, cooked and in small strips
4 boneless pork chops
1 pinch of salt and pepper
1 cup of flour
2 eggs
1 cup of panko bread crumbs
Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven for 350 degrees.
2. In a medium bowl, combine the butter, pepper, garlic, chives, cheese, and bacon. Stir until it is completely combined.
3. Season the pork chops on both sides.
4. Use a fillet knife to cut a large pocket through the side of the pork chops in order to create a cavity. Stuff it with a generous amount of the butter mixture and try to use the edges to seal it.
5. Dip the chops in the flour, then the egg, then the breadcrumbs.
6. Fry the pork chops on both sides for a few minutes until they are a golden brown, then place them in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes
