Makes for 6 Servings
Ingredients:
1 Ib of ground beef
1/4 cup of Parmesian Cheese
1/3 cup of Panko bread crumbs
1/2 minced onion
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt and pepper
3 cups of marinara sauce
6 hot dog buns
Preparation:
1. In a small bowl, combine the beef, cheese, bread crumbs, onion, and spices. Mix until they are combined.
2. Use a cookie scoop to scoop up the meat mixture and roll into balls and place on a sheet tray. Refrigerate them for 45 minutes.
3. Preheat the oven for 350 degrees
4. When they are chill, sauté them in a pan until they have a crispy edge and place them in a 9x9 inch pan. (Don't worry if they are not cooked all the way. The oven will do the rest.)
5. Add the marinara sauce to the meatballs in the pan.
6. Bake for 35 minutes.
7. Toast the hot dog buns and then serve with the meatballs in between them.
