Wdw sickfics

C.B- carsickness.

*this is going to be a series. while the boys are in Hawaii, this take a big turn for them all.*

everyone wanted to go see the volcanoes, but they were in Honolulu. the volcanoes were on the main island. they booked a short flight out which was only 30-45 minutes. they were still a while away from the hiking spot.

here's where things take a turn...

Corbyn's pov

"okay, plane ride done. now lets go get a rental car and drive to the volcano." Jonah said as he took lead. we got a couple cabs and road to the local dealer for a rental. when we got there, we ended up getting a large mini van. we only had 7 people going on the hike cause Gabbie didn't want lavender to get hurt or anything so they both stayed back at the house.

"can we get some food and water before the hike?" Zach asked from the back of the van.

"sure. where should we go?" Jonah asked looking up into the rear view mirror.

"McDonalds!!!" Zach and jack yelled out.

"fine, any objections?" Jonah asked. i sat quietly in the middle seat looking out the window. i personally didn't want to eat anything but i didn't have breakfast and i know i wouldn't be able to get through the whole hike without some type of food.

we made it to the fast food restaurant, walking in and waited in line. i quickly decided on a 10 piece chicken nugget meal because it was mostly light. when we sat at a table i just barely picked at my food.

"you okay bean?" Christina whispered into my ear.

"yea, yea. just um tired. I'm okay though." i said giving her a forced smile. i am tired but I'm also scared. i hate car rides with a passion but i really did want to go hiking. i wanted everyone to have a good time and not worry over me.

"okay, let me know if somethings wrong." she said which i nodded with a true smile this time around. i ate all but three of the nuggets and pushed the box away. "you feeling okay baby?" Christina asked taking my hand in hers.

"yea I'm just not really hungry right now. I'm okay, dont worry." i reassured her quietly but with a smile.

a few minutes after we all finished, we were back in the car. we had a two hour drive to the volcano, which was even more of a reason to be scared.

to fill you in, i get really bad car sickness. ive never been on a car ride longer than 30 minutes where i haven't felt nauseous. along with that, ive never been on a ride longer than 45 to an hour without getting sick. its bad and i dont know how to deal with it. ive tried medicine, ginger, peppermint, looking at the horizon, and even more; but nothing works.

my nerves were slowly starting to build up as we started driving. and keep in mind, Hawaii is not smooth roads; especially up to the volcano. the roads are steep and windy, which is just perfect for me right now (note the sarcasm). i was slowly becoming increasingly dizzy and shaky.

i leaned my head back on the headrest and took slow deep breaths trying to ease the feeling which i quickly realized Christina saw. she reached over and grabbed onto my hand to rub her thumb over my knuckles. they all know about me having carsickness but Christina is the only one who truly knows how bad it can get. yes, the boys have seen it during the car trips to interviews but those weren't that long and i always got adjusted to the tour busses pretty quickly.

"how you holding up baby?" she asked quietly into my ear. i took a shaky breath and shook my head slowly. "do you need anything? water? a bag? need to pull over?" she asked in concern.
