A party of different aromas diffused on all corners of my room as I opened the boxes of food Tawan brought. A plethora of Thai dishes filled my table one by one, and I could barely chip in a plate to eat.

"Your mom prepared so much food! She doesn't even know me and yet she gave me this much." , I cheerfully said. When I turned around, he was already busy checking through my things, obviously looking for his phone.

"Well, I for sure won't be able to finish all of this. Care joining me for a meal?"

"I'm not hungry."

But just as he denied his hunger, his stomach growled in protest. I couldn't help but let out a laugh after hearing it. It's like a monster resides inside his stomach.

"Look, you won't find your phone anywhere because it's here in my pocket. If you come eat with me, I'll give it to you and you can leave right away." , I said as teasingly as I can. I don't know why, but annoying him is so satisfying on my part as I rarely ever see him wear a different expression than a straight face.

His brows curved in a menacing manner that I almost withdrew my proposal, but it was quickly followed by a sigh of defeat. He looked at me with his fiendish eyes before sitting  on the chair in front of me.

"If you don't give me my phone after I eat, I'll strangle you." , he said as he spooned rice and placed it on his plate.

I made myself busy as well and dug in to the enormous amount of food in front of me. There were many different foods laid on my table, and I still couldn't decide what to eat. Finally, I decided to eat the seasoned pork as it was the one nearest to me.

"This tastes so good! Your mom sure does cook well."

Tawan smirked as he heard what I said.

"She doesn't know how to cook. They're made by our maid."

I was both dumbfounded and awkward at what he said that I didn't say nothing and just continued eating. I swear if I happen to have said that in front of his mom, I would have totally embarrassed myself.

I grabbed a spoonful of buttered shrimps and placed it on my now empty plate. Now that I've started eating, it almost seems like I'm eating at a buffet. Just how big is his family that they cook a ton of dishes on a normal day?

The shrimps looked very appealing and tasty, but I have been struggling for ten minutes on how I am going to dismantle its shell so I can eat it. This is why I hate eating shellfoods, the peeling process is rigorous and tiring for me that I don't get to enjoy eating them. As my struggle for peeing the shrimps continues, my plate was suddenly taken by Tawan and exchanged with another plate filled with completely peeled off shrimps.

"It will take you a century before you finish peeling them

"It will take you a century before you finish peeling them." , he said as he effortlessly peeled the shrimps on my plate. I looked at the plate that he gave me and saw the shrimps perfectly peeled off. I unknowingly wore a huge smile as I stared at the boy in front of me.

Just what is your deal, Tawan?
