The Performance

Kaelynn's P.O.V.

As soon as Ciara picked me up from school, we had to go to the place her concert was going to be at. The show was going to start at 8, and ends at around 10. Char and I watched the lights and microphone being checked and the dancing being rehearsed. And we got free food. 'Cause we're special (XD).

"Are you girls okay?" Ciara asked quickly.

We both nodded.

"Good. Do you need anything?"

"Can I have a juice?" Char asked.

"Juice!" Somebody in the back called out. "Somebody get this girl a juice!"

Pretty soon, a bottle of fruit punch was handed to Char by a woman, which I guessed was Ciara's assistant. Charlize took the juice and said, "Thank you!"

Soon, it was a little past 8. I took a peek outside, and the place was packed! All of those people here. Just to see Ciara. She must be amazing. Char and I was going to watch from backstage, and we couldn't contain our excitement.

"You guys okay?" Ciara asked once again, as somebody was putting on her microphone.

"Yeah, we're fine," I answered, looking up at her. I must say, she looked really pretty. But, Char said it before me.

"You look so pretty, Ciara!" Charlize said to the woman.

Ciara blushed a little and smiled. "Thank you." Then she gave us one little smile before running out onstage.

To say that the concert was "so freaking awesome" would be an understatement. But that was all I could say about Ciara's performance. I didn't know she could dance so freaking good! I didn't even know she could dance! Well, in rehearsals she marked the movements, so I didn't see it full-out. My mind was blown through out the performance, and I knew Char's was too. I even saw Ciara give us quick looks and smiles from backstage, which made me smile too.

We were now home, and Char couldn't stop talking about it. "Ciara, you have got to teach me your moves! They are amazing!"

Ciara laughed a little, and put her things down. "I can, some day. But, right now, you two need showers and to go to bed."

Charlize groaned before going up stairs, me following. I had a quick shower, because I was so tired, and it was close to being 12. I threw on a night shirt, and sat on my bed. Yeah, I planned on crawling into bed with Ciara. Hey, don't judge me! She comforts me. And I feel safe around her. These thoughts and feelings about her are the complete opposite of what I felt when I first met her.

After playing Fruit Ninja on my ipad, I turned it off, and snuck out of my room, turning off the lamp on the way. Char's light was off in her room, and I continued tiptoeing to Ciara's.

She laid in her bed, and I knew she was awake. Her breathing wasn't slow and heavy.

"Kaelynn?" She whispered.

"Yeah?" I quickly slid into bed with her.

"Why aren't you sleep?"

"Because I'm talking to you!"

Ciara turned to face me. "You really should be sleep. It's midnight."

"I know. But I feel...comfortable when I sleep here."

"Why?"

"Uh...The bed's soft?"

"Kaelynn."

"Fine! Because...I like being with you. I feel...safe?"

I felt Ciara hold my hand under the covers. It felt unnaturally cold.

"Ciara! Why is your hand so cold?" I asked.

She chuckled a little. "I don't know. It's cold whenever I'm not really active or anything."

"Dude, you just had a concert over an hour ago. It still should be on fire, considering all that dancing you did."

"Oh really?"

"Yep."

I yawned and Ciara pulled me in for a hug. "Go to sleep, hun," she said. And I drifted into a deep sleep.

A/N: Short, I know. And it's a filler. The worst kind of chapters. I couldn't just skip the whole month until New Year's Eve. Or rather, days before that. What about Christmas? Anyways, there's Ciara's performance outfit right there. Well, a picture from a performance. SHE WORE BLACK, OKAY??!!? So...yeah.
Oh, and I need a favor from you guys. I am a SUPER HUGE Grammar Freak. And, I hate improper grammar. So, if you see any spelling errors or grammar mistakes, please tell me.
