The pain was finally over as i let go of Steve's hand as quickly as possible giving him a weird look."All done, just make sure you keep it clean we don't want it getting infected do we?"Bruce said in a slightly different tone as before."It's fine you can go Steve"I said trying to figure out what he was feeling.Steve silently walked out the door looking back at me on the way out.
I could tell what Bruce was already feeling so i replied saying"Hey you don't have anything to worry about."He gave me a hopeful look replying "Are you sure, because i understand if you want to go with him as he's good looking and".I cut him off saying "Hey you're the only man for me."whilst looking deeply in his eyes.He smiled softly.
"Come here". I said whilst kissing him softly without even realising Tony came in saying "I knew it!"he sounded so proud of himself.Great.Tony can never keep a secret in for long."Tony i swear to God if you tell anyone about us i'm going to seal your lips shut."Ok fine."He replied as he knew I would actually do it.
I got up from the chair i was sat on, as Bruce said"Hey, if your up for it we can see what's going on with your side"."Yes of course."I replied giving him a soft smile as i was walking out of the lab i could already hear Tony gassing Bruce up since the last girlfriend he had was with Betty at least 2years ago as they Broke up as Bruce was working with the avengers and he was barely around and it didn't work out and that took a massive hit on him.
I went back to my room to get the note that i got from the red room so i could show it to Tony as he was working with Bruce alone and he already knew about it, but when i got there it was gone i looked everywhere for it, but i couldn't find it. So i ran back to the lab to see if Bruce had it.I stormed up to Bruce nearly knocking him over and i whispered into his ear "do you have the note?"He gave me a concerned look whilst saying "No".I ran back out straight away pacing about thinking where it could be.Only me and Bruce knew about it.Right?
I ran back to my room double checking to see if i'm just blind without realising someone was behind me door with a knife i noticed them at the last second however they managed to stab a gash on my side, i winced in pain as they threw another swing at me but i blocked it and zapped them with a widow bite. It must be the red room! I quickly ran out my room as quickly as possible holding my stab wound whilst calling out for help but i was surrounded by armed guards.
I started having a panic attack as it reminded me exactly of the last two nightmares i had. I sat on the floor leaning against the wall waiting for my death, until a suited up iron man and captain America came knocking all the guards down one by one; i could also see in the corner of my eye Bruce trying not to turn into the hulk, that was until the guard who i zapped before woke up and dragged me up putting a knife to my throat, the cut on my side bled more as i could barely stand up properly as the soldier told everyone to "Stop moving or she dies."
Everyone stopped with a worried look on the their faces, until we heard a massive roar from the hulk came hurdling towards us, the guy got spooked and started to run away dropping me to the ground as i hit the floor hard.The hulk got to him seconds and smashed him into the ground but whilst doing to stepped onto my ankle by accident.
I knew i had to stop him before he broke something else so i shouted his name with all the strength i had left and saying "The sun's getting real low". He turned around and whilst seeing me he started turning back into Bruce whilst stumbling into my room as it was the closest as he didn't want anyone to see him.We had practised me taming hulk back into Bruce a few times however it didn't always go to plan as once and he nearly killed me.He never forgave himself for that.
My panic attack died down a bit and i wanted to go and see if Bruce was ok but Steve picked me up whilst taking me to the small hospital as i had already lost a lot of blood.He set me down on the table as the doctors went to stop the bleeding and stitching me back up.They put anaesthetic and this time it actually worked; they also checked on my foot but it was only severely bruised.
I woke up seeing Bruce with a sad look on his face whilst he was wearing his pyjamas that he had left in my room. I gave him a small smile as he walked over to me whilst holding my hand.I lay on the chair for a bit starving to death as i hadn't eaten all day and it was 14:00.
"Hey how are you?"He said looking at my foot.Then his face dropped saying "wait did i do that?". I gave him a small nod saying "But it's ok, it's only bruised." because i know he's going to beat himself up for it.
He got up walking away with tears in his eyes out of the room, i tried to stop him but it was no use.I got up painfully and limping as i could barely walk, but i found some crutches and walked after him following him into his room. He was sat there on the bed with his head in his hands.
