The guy who had taken everything from me walked into the room.I froze.
I never wanted to see his face again and especially not in real life.I grasped onto Bruce tighter than ever i never wanted to let him go not again.
"Well it seems you have come earlier than i thought and i saw you put up quite a good fight."he said looking around the room."You shouldn't have killed our best doctors considering we now have the hulk, and that makes you useless, so we could just kill you now as he watches.
"You make me sick."I replied wanting to kill him right then and there.
"Guards".
"No,no!" i shouted.
"She's not going anywhere".Bruce said in his hulk voice as i could see the rage coming from him.
The guards dragged me off Bruce and pushed me to the other side on the room, i fell on the ground and looked back at Bruce and next to him was a mass amount of blood that came from my thigh and that's when i gave up, my eyes blurry my whole body sore i knew i was going to die either way.
"Bruce i love you"i whispered knowing it was probably going to be my last words.That was until the Hulk came out...
I massive roar could be heard by anyone in this base, probably anyone in this area.The guards started saying Russian words but i was too exhausted to even think about them. Nothing happened, so then they started shooting at him but he knocked them all out in seconds, and the leader was the only one left so i picked up one of the guns next to me and shot him for everything that he took from me and made sure he was dead.
Whilst doing that the hulk destroyed every single part of the base and everyone in it, he came back into the room i was in as i was lay there nearly dying of blood loss.He then saw the car keys in my pocket and now that the red room tested on him, Bruce could control the hulk so he picked me up gently and went to find my car as quickly as possible.
He eventually found it as he placed me in the passenger seat of the car and quickly went back into the forest to transform back into Bruce.
He ran back to the car and got the keys from me and started driving as fast as he could."Thank you"I whispered barely having any strength left in my body as the new t-shirt i put over my bullet wound was already full of blood.
"Hey it's ok, i should be thanking you, you saved my life, you just need to stay awake ok were nearly home".He said with panic in his voice and i'm pretty sure i could hear see a tear in his eye.
I was lay there replying to Bruce for the next hour honestly i don't know how i'm still alive, i could then feel my head getting lighter by the second. That was until everything went black...
I woke up in the medical bay, my eyes adjusting, as i went to sit up but also moving my thigh and i winced with the pain.There was a bandage around it as i looked up at my surroundings, Bruce was sat there asleep on a chair next to me, i looked at the clock and it was 1am.
"Bruce?"I whispered
He suddenly shot up and with messy curly hair and a relived face, "Nat you're alive"he said whilst holding my hand.
"Yes i'm pretty sure i'm alive" i said with a small smile on my face."What happened?"I questioned as my head hurt.
"Nat you got shot whilst taking down the red room, you did it they won't be back anymore!"He said with a small smile on his face.
"We did it"i corrected Bruce with a tear of joy running down my cheek.
"You need to get some rest ok, even though you've been out for about 7 hours"
"7hours wow"I said looking up at the ceiling.
"I thought i lost you". Bruce said with a sad tone.
"I'm not going anywhere". I said whilst giving him a small smile.
"lets get some rest."Bruce said whilst leaning back on the chair.
"Come here"i replied i'm not letting him sleep like that. I painfully moved up for him to lay next to me.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes".
Bruce slowly lay next to me making sure he didn't hurt me or fall of the bed giving me enough room.
I went back to sleep (somehow) in Bruce's arms.
8hours later i woke up to Bruce not lay next to me. I sat up slowly trying to look out the room. Until he came through the door with Breakfast.
"Thank you".I said happily as i took the plate from him as he placed the water beside me with a soft smile on his face.
"Did you sleep alright?"Bruce asked kindly.
"Yeah I slept fine" i said whilst munching on some toast.
"That's good" he replied.
"No nightmares"I said putting on a fake laugh.
He just smiled back.
"The doctor said you have to stay here for a few days to let the wound heal, you also lost a lot of blood so we had to do a blood transfusion".Bruce explained.
"Wait that's impossible i have like the rarest blood type, once i had to wait like a week to find enough of it".I said back in shock.
"Well i guess it was your lucky day because i have the same as yours"He said with a soft smile."I know, i know it can potentially be dangerous because of the gamma radiation but we didn't have a choice."He continued anxiously.
"Hey it's ok i'll be alright". I replied smiling back reassuring him.
