I walked back to where Wanda is and i stated "I found some paper in Bruce's hoodie that looks like it's been ripped in half, i think it's a phone number or coordinates i don't know"I explained.
"Do you know where the other half could be?"She replied excitedly.
"The last time i wore it was....at the motel"I said sighing looking down.
"Ok...well i could go for you, you don't have to come with me"She said sympathetically.
"No don't be stupid i know which rooms i went in, i'll come with you"I stated.
"If you're sure"Wanda said.
I nodded my head "It's for Bruce"I replied with a small smile.
"Should we chase your steps?"Wanda stated.
"Yeah that's a good idea"
"Firstly i ran to my room, then got dragged down the stairs by guards"I said now as we walked down the stairs"I escaped through the vents"I stated as we made our way up to the roof then whilst looking down i stated "Then i jumped"I sighed whilst looking down.
"We can stop if you want"Wanda replied as she pulled me away from the edge.
"No it's fine"I said as we climbed down the ladder and then we started our walk to the motel and it was quite a long distance.
"You really ran all this way with a sprained ankle"Wanda replied amazed.
"Mhm"I said as we made our way to the reception of the motel.
"Are you sure you want to do this, it might not even be here?"Wanda stated.
"Yeah it will be fun"I lied walking through the door.I rang the bell and the same man appeared giving me a slightly scared look.
"Hi...do you remember me by any chance; is my room 112 still available i think i must've left something in there?"I said as Wanda stood by my side.
"You're the one the agents where after"He said sternly.
"Well-"
"Leave"He stated
"Excuse me"
"I said leave before i call them again"
"They let me go"I replied.
"I don't believe that"He stated crossing his arms.
"Ok fine we'll go"I said sighing and showing him the $100 bill.
"Wait"He stated, i smirked whilst turning back around and he put his hand out stating "Fine" whilst picking up the key and handing it to me as i gave him the note "Thankyou"I said giving him a false smile and then walking out.
"That was amusing"Wanda stated.
"It was"I replied.
We made our way up the stairs and then i sighed and then quickly opened the door.It was exactly as how i left it, "I remember taking it off to shower so it could be around here"I stated looking around the bathroom, but so far no good.We looked for a few more minutes and it wasn't exactly a big room so it wouldn't be hard to spot. "There's nothing here"I sighed sitting on my bed.
"Is there anywhere else you would have taken it off or carried it around like maybe the shop?" Wanda replied.
".....I know another place where i took it off"I said sadly, and then she caught on.
"We don't have to check there, it will be just a waste of time, and if Fury did storm your apartment there is a very high chance he would have got it"Wanda exclaimed.
"I need to be certain"I stated getting up and leaving the room and walking down a floor to outside the guys room.
"You don't have to do this-"Wanda stated but then i cut her of saying "shhhh".I could hear muffled voices inside, it sounded exactly the same guy who i slept with.
Then i heard my name.I burst open the door and the guy was on a phone call and holding a piece of paper.
"Ahh it's you"He said smirking at me.
"Who are you talking to?"I stated.
"Some guy called Bruce...so how have you been baby?"He stated with a smirk.
"Bruce?!"I shouted grabbing the phone of him and putting it to my ear.And there.He.Was.
"Nat?"He stated.I could finally hear his voice as i sighed in relief.
"Bruce oh my god where are you?"I stated nearly in tears.
"Nat who is that guy?"Bruce said disappointed.
"I don't know he just found your number"I replied in shock.
"How did he get to it and why did he call you babe?"He said sadly.
"It's a long story"I said sighing.
"Tell me i have plenty of time"He replied.
"Did you miss me that much you came back for more?"The guy said chuckling.
".....Nat what does he mean by more?.....what happened?"Bruce stated on edge.
"I can't do this right now"Having a slight panic attack as i looked at the guys hand, and there it was the phone number.I went to grab it off him until he pushed me to wall.
"Get away from her"Wanda stated angrily at the man.
"Or what?"He stated laughing back.
"Nat what is going on?"Bruce stated.
"Hold on"I stated through deep breaths.
Wanda then used her powers and then flung the guy across the room knocking him out cold.I snatched the paper out of his hand.There it was, bruce's number.
"Bruce i need to go i'll call you later"I said nearly through tears.
"Nat did you sleep with someone?"He questioned and then i ended the call.
I slid down against the wall trying to hold back my tears. "Nat it's alright c'mon we should probably get out of here"Wanda explained putting her arm out.
I sighed and smashed the guys phone against the wall next to him and got up barging in front of Wanda walking out. "He's never going to forgive me"I stated leaning over the stairwell putting my head down and just looking at the piece of paper.
"Yes he will, we'll just explain everything to him when we get back ok"She said rubbing my back.I just nodded my head back putting the paper in my pocket and then we made our way back to the reception.
"Did you find what you were looking for?"He stated looking at my red eyes.
"In a sense"I stated placing the key on the desk and walking straight back out.The way back to the facility was silent as i was deep in thought and didn't feel like talking.
We arrived back at the avengers facility and when we walked through the door everyone was there confused where we went.All i wanted to do is go back to my room and call Bruce and hoped he understood what happened.
"Where have you guys been?"Tony stated.
"We just went out"I stated trying to walk past as quick as i could but Clint stood in my way.
"Out where?"He replied. I just looked back at Wanda and said "I just thought i left something at the motel"I said sighing.
"Oh right"He stated.
Tony then replied saying "Nat here's your new phone"He stated handing it out to me.
"Ugh thanks"I replied hesitantly grabbing the phone off him and then walking upstairs with it.
I set it up and then stared at the phone number tightly in my hand.
