When i opened the box it was my... ballet slippers. I just froze still slightly smiling as i couldn't handle how happy i was, i couldn't believe it.
"How on earth did you get them"I said with a huge grin on my face.
"Well, it was Bruce who found them and he thought we should all give you them together"Tony replied with a smile.
I turned to look at Bruce as he was smiling at me and i brought him into a big hug saying "Thankyou" as he knew how much they meant to me.
I put the shoes carefully back into the box and sealed them shut as i picked up my crutches and tried to carry them with me back to my room, but it was no use. Bruce then picked them up and carried them behind me, we then went up the stairs carefully and walked into my room, i turned around and took to box off Bruce dropping my crutches and almost walking to my wardrobe as Bruce said "Nat i think you're meant to use your crutches"anxiously. I then noticed i hadn't removed the camera that was in there and i don't even know if it was working anymore.
I grabbed it and smashed it on the ground angrily, as Bruce just looked at me, looked down then back at me and started to clean the pieces up and put it in the bin. I then sat back down on the bed as Bruce sat next to me. I leant my head on his shoulder and sighed heavily saying "Finally".
"Finally"Bruce repeated as now we can be at peace and have nothing to worry about.Not yet anyway.
We then went back downstairs and sat with everyone, they were about to go on a harmless mission but obviously i couldn't go and they didn't need Bruce, so it was just going to be me and Bruce alone.
Everyone came and said bye to me and Bruce and Tony on the way out said "No sex on the couch"He said looking directly at me. I scoffed and threw the tv remote at him, it hit him and he threw back at me and i caught it easily.He just smiled smugly at me and then they started walking out as i said "Bye boys".
I turned back at Bruce and smiled at him, as he smiled back. "What should we do then?"He asked me. I couldn't do much as i had a broken ankle so i just replied "For now we can enjoy the time we have just together and just relax and later we can netflix and chill".I said smirking at him.
"And chill huh"He said smiling at me.
"Yeah" I replied winking at him, he just chuckled to himself.
"Do you want to play a board game?"He asked to pass time.
"Yeah twister"I replied jokingly, he laughed back. "Ok fine, have your way, or do you want to play a video game?".
"A video game...yeah sure".He said scratching the back of neck.
"You've never played before have you?"I said chuckling, i've only played on it a few times before with Clint.
"Ugh no"He replied.
I gave him a controller, and started showing him all the buttons, we were going to play call of duty. "Do you not think this game...encourages violence"He said innocently.
"Your such a dork" I said chuckling at him as i watched him play very badly for at least 10mins, then he finally got a kill and i congratulated him, "Poor guy"He said after i just laughed at him as he had been killed 10times at least. I then started to play and i quickly got 10 kills, Bruce watched me intrigued as he said "you're really good" smiling at me.
"This basically natural for me, in real life to"I added laughing. "I guess that's true"He said smiling back.
After Bruce made lunch and we started eating, whilst we were the events from yesterday crossed my mind and what happened and i felt and had the urge to tell Bruce what happened in the past, but i couldn't bring myself to tell him.
Bruce then got a text from Tony saying 'We'll be coming back later on tonight so you better be keeping it pg', he laughed and handed me his phone as i looked at the message but then another notification came up that stood out, it stated someone had come out of prison, but then i realised who that someone was, my faced dropped as i looked at him, he was looking right back at me as his face also dropped as he could sense something was wrong.
"What's wrong"Bruce questioned me. I stayed silent, he then took his phone off me and read what it said, his face became sad but also angry as he quickly placed his phone down and put his head in his hands and sighed. I rubbed his back saying "Whatever happens, i'm right next to you remember that".He moved his hands away from his face and gave me a small smile.
A few hours then passed and we started watching a movie, we had some popcorn that we shared and some drinks. It was now maybe half an hour into the movie and i noticed Bruce was fidgeting with his hands, that normally means he was worried about something and i could tell he hadn't eaten much, he was just staring at the film.
"Are you alright?"I questioned him.
"Y-yeah i-im fine"He replied which wasn't very convincing.
"It's about your dad isn't it"I said putting my hand on his thigh.
"I don't know i'm just trying to think of what he's going to do and where he's going to go because i can't think of anyone who would let him live with them in the long term".He replied nervously.
"Hey you have nothing to worry about"I stated.
"I just can't stop thinking about it"He said
I placed the popcorn to the side and said "I think i know a way to distract you". I said smirking.
"How?"He replied innocently.
I just pulled him by the collar so he was on top of me and started kissing him deeply, he kissed back and after awhile it started getting heated, he smiled placed kisses along my neck but it didn't seem to bother me anymore as i enjoyed it and i felt my body weaken.
I took my top off and kissed him harder and stronger until i completely forgot about the others as they walked out the elevator, "I told you cap they're fonduing you owe me $5"Tony shouted as me and Bruce quickly separated.I quickly put my shirt back on and looked at Bruce and we both laughed at each other."You guys bet on us"I stated rolling my eyes and looking at Tony.He just laughed back.
"Oh yeah someone outside the gates were asking for you Bruce i don't know if they're still there or not".Our faces dropped, it can't be.
Bruce then quickly got up and ran out, i quickly grabbed my crutches and tried to follow him as fast as i could. When i got outside, the man was pointing a gun at Bruce i quickly went up to them as the man asked "Is this your girl Bruce?"He said now pointing the gun at me, Bruce then stepped in front of me and said "Your not gonna want to do that she's an as-"Bruce then got hit across the face as he fell to the ground.
"Who are you?"He questioned me.
"An assassin"I threw i widow bite at him as he fell to the ground, he shook it off relatively well and laughed at me and then got up and pushed me to the ground then BANG.

Just thinking throughout the story i never really explained when the story was set, it was basically set in first avengers movie with how they looked and everything.
