"See" Bruce responded giving me a scared look, whilst holding my waist up gently sitting me back on my bed. I replied "Fine, i'll stay here all on my own; around shield agents, whilst you go and fight in a big battle"I said sighing and trying to focus on anything accept the pain i was feeling, i hated missing out on big missions. "I'm sure the mission won't be that big" bruce reassured me. I looked at him deeply and replied "It's a code green and Thor's here, i'm pretty sure it's going to be a big mission" i replied jealously. "If you want i could stay here with you, i don't trust those other shield guys" he murmured at the end.
"Are you stupid of course i want you to go and fight bad guys without me, I'm not going to hold you back" I replied reassuringly "If you say so, i'll stay with you until you need to go i don't want you switching up on me and leave me behind my back"He said with a chuckle."No it's ok, you need to get ready, trust me i'm not going to anywhere"I said sadly.
Right on cue tony came in as he needed to show bruce something in the lab for the mission as cap had told him where to find him. He came in and said "alright banner i hope you're not playing hide the zucchini with Romanoff and come help me with this mission. Also by the why how you holding up nat?" as nothing around here is kept a secret for long. I rolled my eyes in disgust and just put on a fake smile and replied "fine" bluntly. "That's good, now c'mon big guy we have a mission to get to" he said whilst walking at the door. Bruce got off my bed and said "i'll be right back before you know it, don't be afraid to ask for anything" He said then kissing my head and walking out.Damn he was so adorable.
I was now all alone, i felt some sort of emptiness now he was gone. At least i could let all my emotions out and speak to him when i needed. I trust him more than anyone else in this world right now. I thought smiling to myself. I looked at the time on my it was now 2:30. wow time goes by so fast. I didn't know what else to because i could barely move, so i just went on my phone and scrolled though my emails to see if i'd missed anything. But there was nothing new.
I was bored out my mind i had two options really to sleep or to read, don't get me wrong i do love a good book, but after all these events i felt like a deserved a nice long rest. I eventually drifted off into a deep slumber.
I was on a mission it was a very small one but it was just important as anyone else. I had to assassinate this guy, i didn't know at the time why, but that never bothered me, the only thing that kept me going was if i didn't.
It was an extremely cold winter's night in Russia that night and walking through the snow to the house felt like a challenge itself, by the time i got to the house i was literally shaking, i needed to get into the house as fast as possible but i couldn't spot a way in, not yet. I was searching for a few more minutes until a stumbled upon a slightly open window, it was tiny but i knew i could fit in.
The house was huge and it looked like the window that was open, luckily as i got closer seemed to be a bathroom window so i was safe to go in without having to be that relatively quiet as i sometimes have to be.
I held onto a drainage pip climbing up the wall, as my gate way was on the second floor, I silently slipped through the window.
There did seem to be a few lights on in the house.Great.I made my way into the house and around me there was a simple, clean bathroom.I slowly opened the door into the corridor and there was 4 doors two on each side. However there was some candles lit on the shelves by the side i stared at them for a bit, but i just decided to block them out i didn't have a choice. I had to open each door hoping it would be the right door for where my victim was without having to kill anyone else.
The first door i opened i could sense someone was inside as i saw the light coming from under the door, i opened the door as slowly as i could without making any noise there was no one in sight but i could sense someone behind, With a knife! How did he know i was coming? i thought to myself.
I slyly acted like i didn't see him until he threw his arm out as i grabbed it and pinned him to the floor it was a little difficult as he was stronger than expected however he still had his knife in his hand managed to stab a gash in my side, i was in so much pain but i still had both my hands pinned him and i snapped his neck.
He was partially covered in my blood as i ran away trying to stop the bleeding from my wound but there was nothing i could do, i walked as fast as i could to try and get out for the red room guards to pick me up and help me heal my wound and back into the freezing cold night.The drops of blood on the snow stood out like a sore thumb as i raced back to the car as my legs were weak and numb but there was no one there. They left me!
Suddenly i huge explosion occurred next to me, i could smell raging fire. But wait that wasn't a dream!
