We turned up at the avengers facility and made our way out of the car grabbing our bags and waiting at the front door was everyone was there to greet us.They hugged us and glad we were back. Everything seemed back to normal surprisingly, even Bucky it's like we never even left.
-A few hours later-
We had unpacked our bags and i was sat next to Bruce, i leant on his shoulder and i just sat there in peace.
"You alright?"Bruce asked.
"Yes"I said nodding my head.
"Glad to be back?"He said with small laugh.
I nodded my head again.
"You can tell me if anythings wrong"He replied.
"No i'm fine"I said roughly.
"Alright"He said kissing my head.
"Tony's having a party tonight if you want to come"
"Ok"I replied still resting my head. The truth is i was kind of dreading not being able to not see Bruce sometimes, as most of the time Tony keeps him up the lab for hours and he just gives in until i had to save him. So i'm going to make my time last before all of my action-packed work takes place, that i have to admit i missed.
-A few hours later-
I got out of the shower and did my hair and makeup ready for Tony's party, i got dressed into a black dress and heels and made my way to see Bruce, he was wearing a suit aswell.
"You look nice"Bruce stated smiling.
"Don't look too bad yourself"I said smiling back and leading him towards the party.
When we got there i noticed Bucky stood by himself so as Bruce and Tony were talking about science i made my way over, but before i could get to him he had his eyes on someone else, she was brunette and had green eyes and pretty.
The girl went up to him and they started to walk away and as they did James looked up and he saw me, that's when it hit me.....why was i jealous?! I never thought of the idea of him being with anyone else.
I stood there confused as i could tell so did he as he walked away.All of the emotions ran through my head and why i would think that.I'm over him....right?.
I got lost in thought until suddenly someone touched my arm and i jumped.Bruce turned round to face me saying.
"You ok?"Worriedly as he saw me stood alone frozen in the middle of the room.
"Y-yep"I said with a fake smile.
"Alright.......should we get you a drink?"
I nodded my head, i drink does sound nice.
.....
I was onto my 5 vodka shot, and Bruce started to get worried as he knows i do this to try and hide my emotions, especially to this extent anyway.
I slowly looked up, my vision slightly blurry as Bruce was drinking.Then i saw Bucky stood there, staring at me until then he disappeared. I adjusted to my surroundings and i couldn't see him anywhere, was i just imagining him?
"I think we should head up now"Bruce said seeing the state of me. I was tired in the first place from the flight and the party and alcohol didn't really help.
"Are you sure?"I replied.
"Yes c'mon we need rest"He said as we walked back to our room.
As we walked back i saw Bucky stood alone in the corner watching me as i walked with Bruce. I wonder what happened.
