**the weekend**
OWENS POV
It was Friday afternoon and Amelia was coming over soon. I was excited to spend the weekend with her.
"So is she like sleeping in your bed?" Megan asked as she sat down next to me at the kitchen table.
"Yeah," I chuckled.
"Does mom know that?" She chuckled.
"Does mom know what?" My mom said as she walked into the kitchen.
"That Amelia was going to stay in my room," I said.
"It's fine as long as the door stays open," she said.
"Yeah that's fine," I said. The doorbell rang and I knew it was Amelia. I got up and opened the door and she was so cute.
"Hi," she smiled.
"Hi," I smiled. I grabbed her bag from her and my mom came out of the kitchen to say hi.
"Hi Amelia," my mom smiled.
"Hi, thank you so much for letting me stay here for the weekend," Amelia said.
"Of course," my mom said. We walked upstairs and Amelia sat down at my desk.
"You're so organized," she said.
"Not really," I chuckled. She spun around in my chair and smiled.
"You're cute," she said.
"So are you," I said and kissed her. She got up and sat on my bed.
"I like your bed, it's comfy," she said.
"So is yours," I said.
"Do you have like homework this weekend?" She asked.
"Yes," I chuckled, "Do you?"
"Yeah," she chuckled, "can we do ours now to get it out of the way?"
"Yeah, good idea," I said.
"Perfect can you help me with my math homework," she asked cutely.
"Sure," I said and sat down next to her.
AMELIAS POV
Owen and I finished all our homework for the weekend and now we could just hangout which was nice.
"Do you want to go swimming?" Owen asked.
"Sure," I said.
"Lake? Or pool?" Owen said.
"Pool I'm too lazy to walk down there," I chuckled.
"Okay," Owen said and kissed my head. We both changed and walked out to his pool and it was still pretty sunny out for the late afternoon.
"Do you want sunscreen?" Owen asked.
"Owen it's 4pm," I chuckled.
"I'm pale," Owen chuckled. I walked over to him and kissed his cheek. He smiled as me and kissed me softly. I pulled his arm and pulled him into the pool with me and we both broke the surface laughing.
"I hate you for that," he pouted.
"Did someone not get to put their sunscreen on?" I chuckled and swam towards him.
"I didn't," he pouted. I chuckled and kissed his cheek. He wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped my legs around him.
EVELYNS POV
I really love Amelia. I really do. She is the sweetest and cutest thing. She's totally turned Owen into a romantic, it's cute.
"Meg what do you want for dinner?" I asked.
"I don't know," she shrugged.
"Pizza?," I said.
"Sounds good to me," she said.
"Alright," I said. I heard the back door open and I knew it was the kids.
"Hey Amelia?" I said.
"Yeah?" She said as she walked into the kitchen.
"Do you have any allergies or anything you don't eat?" I asked.
"Nope," she said, "I'm good."
"Okay, does pizza sound good tonight?" I asked.
"Yeah that's good mom, thanks," Owen said, "we're gonna go shower before dinner."
"Together?" Megan said.
"Shut your mouth," Owen chuckled.
"Hey be nice!" I said. Owen chuckled and they went upstairs.
OWENS POV
"Hey you can shower up here if you want," I said.
"Okay," Amelia nodded, "I'm stealing one of your sweatshirts."
"Be my guest," I chuckled and she opened my closet. I walked up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist.
"I put a towel in the bathroom before for you and Megan's conditioner and stuff is in the shower," I said.
"Thanks," she said, "you're the best for this weekend really."
"I'm pretty great aren't I?" I chuckled. She smirked and kissed my cheek before walking into the bathroom.
-
I was laying in my bed waiting for Amelia to come out of the shower. I looked over at the untouched side of my bed and I couldn't wait to have her here. I think I love her. I really do. But I know if I say it, it'll freak her out. She might run. I heard my door open and I looked up and saw Amelia walk through the door in my sweatshirt and a pair of shorts, she was adorable.
"Hi," I said.
"Hi," she said, "your mom said the pizza should be here in a few."
"Okay," I said. She curled up next to me and I kissed her head. She nuzzled into my chest and I put my arm around her.
"Is someone tired?" I chuckled.
"Yeah," she said softly. I kissed her head and my mom opened the door.
"Hey pizza's here," my mom said.
"Okay," I said. Amelia and I got up and walked downstairs.
"Mom can we watch TV with dinner?" Megan asked.
"Sure," My mom said.
"Can we eat dinner upstairs?" I asked.
"As long as you bring the garbage back down," my mom said.
"Megan's already down here," I said.
"Owen," Megan chuckled and hit my arm. We grabbed pizza and walked back upstairs.
"Wanna eat on the roof?" I asked.
"Yeah," she smiled. I opened the window and we climbed on top.
"Hey look it's my window," she joked.
"Yup," I said.
"My room is a mess," she chuckled.
"Clean it idiot," I chuckled.
"Idiot," she mocked.
CALLIES POV
I was up doing my chemistry homework when my phone buzzed. I looked over and it was Owen.
"Can we talk?" It read.
"Sure," I sent.
"I think I love her," he sent.
"Yes I think we all know that," I sent.
"It's so early to tell her, but I want to, I think she'll run," he sent. I sent a frowny face.
"I think she loves you too though," I sent.
"She's so fragile," he sent.
"I know," I sent.
"I really love her Callie," he sent.
"You're so in love lol," I sent.
"I know lol," he sent.
"Ugh, well good night Callie," he sent.
"Night Owen," I sent.
AMELIAS POV
It was super late and I was so exhausted. I was walking back from the bathroom when Evelyn came out of her room.
"Oh hey," she smiled.
"Hi," I said.
"You okay honey? You look exhausted," she said.
"Yeah, uh, I am," I chuckled, "long day."
"If you ever need anything I'm here for you," she said and hugged me.
"Thank you," I said.
"Tell Owen I said goodnight okay?" She said.
"Okay," I said.
"I'll see you in the morning, good night," She said.
"Good night," I said and opened Owen's door. I walked over and he opened his arms for me. I nuzzled into him and he kissed my head.
"Your mom said good night," I said softly.
"Okay," he said and kissed my head.
"I'm so tired," I chuckled, "Good night Owen."
"Good night Amelia," he said and kissed me before I fell asleep.
