OWENS POV
I opened my front door and Megan was sitting on the couch.
"Mom wants you upstairs," she said.
"Okay," I said.
"I heard about your shenanigans last night," she said.
"Shut up we weren't doing anything," I said.
"Alright," she said. I dropped my bag and coat and walked upstairs and my mom was in my room.
"So," I said.
"Have you two been doing this?" She said.
"No," I lied.
"Alright well, you're grounded for a week," she said.
"Okay," I said.
"Are you two having sex? Is that why you snuck her in?" She said.
"We're not having sex I promise," I said.
"Good," she said, "but you're still grounded."
"I'm sorry, it wasn't smart," I said.
"You're right it wasn't smart," she said.
"Are you mad at me?" I said.
"I mean you're a little distrustful," she said.
"I'm sorry," I said.
"Don't do its again," she said.
"I won't," I said.
"I like her very much," she said, "which makes it very hard to be mad at you two."
"I also like her very much," I chuckled.
"I know," she said.

I was done with all my homework and I was so bored, I just wanted Amelia. I looked out my window and saw her sitting at her desk working. She was so cute. I grabbed my phone and texted her.
"Look left," I said. I watched her look at her phone and then turned and saw me. She smiled big and waved at me, it was the cutest thing ever. I did the same and she got up and opened the window. I did the same and she smiled.
"So are you grounded?" She asked.
"A week," I said.
"At least we both got a week," she chuckled.
"Wonder if grounding includes window privileges," I chuckled.
"I hope not," she chuckled.
"Me too," I said.
"So what are you up to?" She asked.
"Working on my history paper," I said.
"Oh nice," she said, "I'm doing math homework."
"So you understand it?" I joked.
"Actually, yes," she said.
"That's shocking," I said.
"I know right?" She laughed.
"You're cute," I said.
"So are you," she smiled, "well I gotta go finish my homework, talk to you later?"
"Of course," I said and closed my window.
AMELIAS POV
I was sitting at dinner and I was bored. I wanted to hangout with Owen. We all finished eating and my mom grabbed my arm before I could go hide out in my room.
"Yes?" I said.
"Can we talk?" She said.
"Sure," I shrugged and sat down.
"I'm sorry I freaked out last night," she said.
"I mean I did sneak out," I chuckled.
"I know, but I'm just scared," she said.
"Of what?" I said.
"You Hurting yourself again," she said sadly, "I thought you ran away last night."
"I'm sorry," I said, I didn't know she was that worried about me.
"You can ask to have Owen sleep over," she chuckled.
"I'm sorry I scared you," I said.
"It's okay," she said.
"Are you mad?" I said.
"I'm relieved that you're okay, but yes I'm mad you didn't ask," she said as she hugged me.
"I'm sorry too," I said, "I should have just asked."
"You're right, you should have," she said, "but I am so glad you are okay."
"I'm okay mom," I said, "I promise you, I'm better."
"I know you are, and I know you put in the work, but I'm your mother and I worry about you," she said, "I always have and I always will." I nodded and hugged her again as she kissed my head. I walked back upstairs and into my bedroom. I packed up all my textbooks and binders and turned my TV on. I was laying in bed watching TV for a while when I heard my door open. I turned and it was Derek.
"Hey," he said, "how are you doing?"
"Did mom also you to make sure I wasn't depressed?" I said.
"I'm not going to lie to you," he laughed, "yes." I patted the spot next to me on my bed and he sat down.
"I'm not depressed," I chuckled, "how's that."
"Someone misses their boyfriend," Derek chuckled.
"Is anything ever going to go back to normal?" I said quietly, "or am I always going to be the girl that everyone is afraid to say anything to because she'll try  to kill herself."
"You're not that person to me," Derek said.
"I think I'm that person to mom," I sighed, "I don't think she thinks I'm better."
"I think she does, I think she just thinks you made a dumb move," He chuckled.
"Well she's not wrong," I said.
"You're right," he chuckled.
"Is my suicide attempt going to follow me everywhere?" I sighed.
"No," he said. I looked at him and he opened his arms up for a hug. I hugged him and he kissed my head.
"You're still the same person to me," he said.
"Yeah okay," I chuckled.
"I'm serious," he said, "your past doesn't define you."
"That's so cringe," I chuckled.
"You're cringe," he joked.
"Shut up," I said.
"So," he said, "is this the first time she's caught you?"
"What?" I said.
"So she didn't catch him the other three times he was here," he said. My mouth dropped when I looked at him.
"You knew?" I said.
"Yeah," he chuckled.
"Does Liz know?" I said.
"I don't think so," he chuckled, "I didn't want you to get in trouble."
"Really?" I said.
"Figured snitches get stitches so," he said. I laughed and nudged him.
"You really knew?" I chuckled.
"Yup," he chuckled.
"You're the best sometimes," I said.
"Sometimes?" He said.
"Sometimes," I smiled.
