AMELIAS POV
Owen and I got ready to go down by the lake. We haven't been in a really long time. It has so many memories for us, really good ones.
"Owen are you ready?" I asked as I walked out of the bathroom. I walked into my room and he was just wearing swim trunks.
"Yeah let me throw a shirt on," he said.
"Why?" I said. He chuckled and I giggled.
"You're adorable," he said as he kissed me and we started walking to the lake. We were walking down the road hand and hand and I don't ever want this moment to be over.
"You know Amelia, there's probably bugs on this trail," he joked. I chuckled as he put his arm around me.
"I'll be okay," I laughed. He kissed my temple as we walked down the path and we got to the lake.
"I remember when I brought you here for the first time like it was yesterday," he said as we sat down on the rocks by the water.
"I remember you throwing me in the water while Jackson and Callie were here," I chuckled, "I was soaked for the rest of the day." He laughed.
"I only did that cause I liked you," he said.
"I know," I chuckled.
"We went on our first date up there," he said and pointed to the treehouse.
"I told you I loved you after recovery right here," I said looking up at him.
"Yeah as if I couldn't tell," he joked.
"Oh shut up," I said. He chuckled and put his arm around me.
"I love you," he said.
"I love you too," I said, "when do you go back?"
"Sunday afternoon," he said.
"So I get two full days with you?" I smiled.
"Yup," he said, "or I could sneak you into my luggage," he chuckled.
"I can't believe I'm going to Harvard," I said.
"I'm so proud of you," he said kissing me.
"Look at us," I said, "being smart."
"You have your moments," he joked.
"Shut up," I said and hit him, "you have your moments too."
"You should come out for family weekend," He said.
"When is it?" I asked.
"It's like 2 weeks before thanksgiving," he said.
"I'll be there," I said.
"Yay," he said and kissed me.
"We're pretty good at this long distance thing," I said.
"Yeah," he said, "I told you we could do it."
"I know, you were right," I said.
"Amelia always worrying," he joked.
"Hey it's what I do best," I chuckled.
-
"If you jump off that rock I'll do it," I chuckled, looking at the side of the cliff by the water.
"You won't jump off it," Owen chuckled.
"Yes I will," I chuckled.
"You go first then," Owen laughed. I grabbed his arm and we both got to the edge. I jumped and felt myself hit the water. I came back up to the surface and looked at Owen.
"Didn't think you'd jump," he chuckled and then jumped. He came back up to the surface and I swam over to him and planted a kiss on his lips as I wrapped my legs around his waist. He ran his fingers through my hair and I smiled.
"I love you," I said.
"I love you too," Owen smiled.
OWENS POV
We were walking back to Amelia's house now. We were both wrapped in towels and soaking wet. I put my arm around her and she leaned into me. I was so glad I was home for a few days. Tonight we were going to have dinner with both our families, which would be nice. It's a celebration of Amelia getting into Harvard and me just being home for a few, but definitely mostly Amelia. She unlocked the door and we walked in.
"Hm empty house," she teased, "whatcha wanna do?"
"Up to you," I said.
"Hm," she teased as she walked into the kitchen.
"Amelia," I said as I walked after her.
"Was there something you wanted to do?" She said.
"You're such a tease you know that right?" I chuckled.
"Mhm," she chuckled.
"Well we're not playing that game today," I said. She looked confused but I picked her up bridal style and ran up the stairs. We walked into her bathroom and I started kissing her. I felt her untie my swim trunks as I started untying her bathing suit top.
"Close. The. Door," she said in between kisses. I closed and locked the door behind me and picked her up and put her on the counter. I started kissing down her neck and collarbone and she giggled. She wrapped her legs around my waist and I turned her shower on. I pulled her into the shower and she smiled.
"I love you," she giggled.
"I love you too," I said as I started kissing her again.
-
Amelia and I were both wrapped in towels and she smiled.
"I missed that," she chuckled.
"Me too," I said. She came over and pecked my lips and then walked into her room and by her closet. Her phone started ringing.
"Owen can you see who it is?" She called. I looked at the phone and it was Cooper Friedman. No idea who that was.
"Uh it's a Cooper Friedman," I said.
"Ooh give me it," she said and ran out in a towel and grabbed the phone.
"Hello?" She said. Who was this guy?"
"No I think Monday would be good," she said, "yes do that." There was a long pause and Amelia smiled.
"Good luck!" She said and hung up.
"Who's Cooper?" I asked.
"This boy in Charlotte and I's physics class who has a major crush on Charlotte, I've been trying to get him to ask her out because Charlotte thinks he's really cute, so he's doing it on Monday," she said.
"Oh okay," I said, "that's exciting."
"You were going to get jealous weren't you!" She said.
"Was not," I said.
"Oh you so were!" She laughed, she loved being right.
"Fine maybe a little," I shrugged.
"Oh my god," she laughed.
"Shut up," I said.
"You have nothing to be jealous of stupid," I said, "all I want is you and you know that."
