1 week later
AMELIAS POV
I could hangout with Owen today. God I was so excited. We were sitting at lunch together with our friends and I was so happy today.
"You're all bubbly today," April chuckled, "you're stealing my job."
"It's because we're both ungrounded today," Owen said.
"Oh that's today? Cool," Callie said.
"Yeah," I said. I smiled at Owen and pecked his lips before going back to my homework during lunch.
-
I walked into accounting and sat down next to Ryan.
"Hey," he said.
"Hi," I said.
"You're happy today," he said.
"Yeah so?" I said.
"What's up?" He asked.
"I'm hanging out with Owen today," I said.
"Don't you do that everyday?" He said annoyed.
"I've been grounded for a week," I said.
"Grounded? What did you do?" He said.
"I didn't do anything," I said.
"Oh yes you did," he said.
"Fine. I snuck into his house in the middle of the night," I said.
"Booty call?" He said.
"No shut up," I said.
"Fine okay," he said.
"You're annoying you know that right?" I said.
"You're made that pretty clear," he nodded.
"Good," I said.
OWENS POV
Today Amelia and I were ungrounded. Which meant we could hangout. I was so excited, I mean I've seen her everyday in school but I love hanging out with her outside of school of course. We got out of Dereks car and walked over to my house.
"Is your mom mad at me?" She asked.
"What?" I said.
"Well I haven't seen her in a week, is she mad at me for what happened?" She said worriedly.
"Amelia she's not mad at you she loves you okay?" I said.
"Okay," she said.
"You're cute," I said.
"So are you," she giggled. We walked inside and grabbed a snack and went upstairs to my room.
"What do you want to do?"I asked.
"Whatever you wanna do," she chuckled.
"Okay," I said and grabbed my Xbox and threw her a controller.
"What are we playing?" She asked.
"Fortnite," I chuckled.
"You know I suck at that game," she pouted.
"You said whatever I wanna do," I joked.
"Fine," she chuckled as I sat down next to her. She kissed my cheek and snuggled into me as we started playing. She was a lot better than I remembered.
"Have you been practicing?" I joked.
"No, I'm just pressing different buttons this time," she said and looked at me.
"Are you serious?" I said. She nodded.
"Yeah I have no idea what I'm doing Owen," she laughed.
"Oh you're so cute," I said and kissed her. She smiled and snuggled into me.
"How was school today?" I asked.
"It was good," she said, "a lot better that I got to go home with you."
"Yeah agreed," I said.
"Did you know that derek knew about the times you came over?" She said.
"No," I said.
"He told me a few nights ago he knew, he just didn't say anything," she said.
"Really? I'm surprised he didn't say anything," I said.
"No me too," She said, "I think he's afraid to argue with me again."
"Yeah," I said.
-
Amelia was snuggled into me as we were watching TV. She was adorable.
"I love you," I said softly.
"I love you too," she said as she looked up at me with her gorgeous eyes.
"You have pretty eyes, have I ever told you that?" I said.
"No," she chuckled.
"Well you do," I said.
"So do you," she said as her thumb stroked my cheek.
"Do I?" I chuckled.
"Mhm, they're like the ocean," she said as she looked up at me cutely. I leaned down and kissed her and she smiled.
"I missed this," she said.
"Me too," I said.
"The window can only do so much," she joked.
"Agreed," I said. She cuddled into my chest and I wrapped my arms around her.
"You're so cute you know that?" I said. She giggled and smiled.
"Yes," she said cutely. I kissed her forehead and pecked her lips a bunch which made her smile big. She was so the love of my life.
AMELIAS POV
I got out of the shower and I changed into my pajamas and walked downstairs.
"How was Owen's?" I heard. I turned to see Liz at the counter.
"Good," I said.
"That's good," Liz said.
"Yeah," I said.
"You know Ryan has the biggest crush on you," Liz chuckled.
"I'm aware," I chuckled.
"He asked about you today in chemistry," she said.
"He asked about me?" I said.
"Yeah," she said.
"What did he ask?" I said.
"He asked if you and Owen were still together," she said.
"He's so fucking annoying," I said.
"He seems like it," she said.
"Who?" My mom said as she came into the kitchen.
"Nobody," I said.
"What? Who were you talking about?" My mom said.
"Ryan Kerrigan," Liz said.
"Is he the one that-" my mom started, and I knew she was going to say something along the lines of gave you the pills.
"It doesn't matter," I said.
"He's like in love with Amelia," Liz said.
"Can you shut up," I chuckled.
"Is he actually? Isn't he a senior?" My mom said.
"Yeah," I said.
"Doesn't he know you're in love with Owen," Liz chuckled.
"I've explained it many times," I chuckled and opened the pantry.
"He's a bad apple," My mom said.
"Yeah," I said, "very much so."
"He's kinda cute," Liz said.
"You can have him," I chuckled.
"Nobody is having him," my mom chuckled.
"He's not horrible," I said, "Liz can have him."
"Isn't he a drug addict?" My mom said.
"Bad boy vibe," Liz said.
"Take him," I chuckled.
"No," my mom said.
"Mom you should find a boyfriend!" Liz said.
"Oh my gosh yes," I said.
"No, were not doing that now," she chuckled.
"Get tinder give me your phone," I said.
"Amelia I don't want tinder!" She said.
"Oh come on," Liz chuckled and grabbed her phone.
"Girls!" My mom said.
"What are your interests?" Liz said, "music? Films?"
"Men," I chuckled.
"Okay enough," my mom laughed and grabbed her phone.
"You're no fun," I pouted.
