OWENS POV
The four of us went out to a late dinner since everyone's flight got in late. Parents weekend technically started tomorrow but it was good they got here now so they wouldn't have to fly in early in the morning. My mom and Megan were super jet lagged and went back to the hotel. I convinced my mom that Amelia staying in my dorm was 100% allowed and she somehow believed me.
"I want to see your dorm now!" Amelia giggled.
"Okay we will," I chuckled as we got in the elevator. My roommate was out to dinner with his father and sister, and he promised not to snitch on Amelia and I. That's even if he comes back to the room, he told me he'd probably stay in a hotel room with his family since this is the first time he's seen them since the beginning of the school year. I unlocked the door and opened the door.
"It's cute," Amelia said.
"My roommate is a neat freak so I feel bad leaving anything out," I chuckled.
"Aw," Amelia smiled as she sat down at my desk and looked at the little collage of photos I had of her, my family, and our friend group.
"I haven't talked to Jackson and April in so long," she said.
"You talk to Callie often?" I asked, her and Callie were always closer.
"Yeah I talked to her yesterday," she said.
"That's good," I said and kissed her head.
"Yeah," she smiled. She got up and laid down in my bed.
"It's kinda uncomfortable," I chuckled.
"Yeah," she chuckled and rolled over, "it's not as soft as my bed."
"Definitely not," I chuckled and laid down next to her.
"You're sure you're not going to get in trouble for me staying here?" She asked.
"They won't know, my roommate is staying at a hotel with his family anyway," I said.
"Okay," she giggled and kissed my cheek. She snuggled into me and put her head on my chest.
"Do you have a TV in this room?" She chuckled.
"No, we can watch something on my computer," I said.
"Alright," she said. She snuggled into me and I wrapped my arms around her waist. She was so cute.
"Guess what I did this morning," She said.
"What?" I said.
"I committed to Harvard," she smiled.
"Oh my gosh that's awesome," I smiled.
"Mhm," she giggled. I kissed her and she pulled me close to her. I rolled of over so I was on top as we started making out.
"You're sure you won't get in trouble?" Amelia said.
"I promise, stop worrying," I chuckled as my hands found her hips.
"Alright," she chuckled as her hands went under my shirt.
"Alright?" I laughed.
-
I was laying next to Amelia and we both smiled.
"I could get used to that," she chuckled.
"Me too," I said.
"I can't wait until we're both here, at Harvard, in Boston, we'll be together," she smiled.
"It's so exciting," I smiled.
"You still mean all that stuff you said right?" She said, "about having a life and everything."
"Of course I meant it honey," I said, "why wouldn't I?"
"No I know you would, I just get insecure sometimes," she said shyly.
"Well I will reassure you every day," I said and kissed her cheek.
"You're truly the best," she said.
"That's all you," I said and sat up next to her.
"We can really make this work," she said smiling, "here, the two of us."
"Yeah," I smiled.
"It just feels so real all of a sudden," she smiled.
"It's becoming real," I smiled.
"How many kids do you want?" She asked as she laid back down and looked at the ceiling.
"I don't know," I shrugged.
"So 5?" She chuckled.
"5?" I laughed as I laid down next to her.
"Well maybe 4," she said, "if the first four terrorize us too much we don't have to have five." I laughed and kissed her head.
"You're too cute," I said.
"Or what about a dog? Do you want a dog?" She asked.
"I don't know, I mean not really," I said.
"I kinda don't either," she chuckled.
"Well that settles that," I said.
"Do you still want to go into the army?" She asked.
"Yes," I said.
"The army's dangerous," she said softly.
"I know," I said. We laid there silently for a while. I looked over at her and I could tell she was thinking. I rolled over on my side and looked at her. Her eyes met mine and she smiled.
"I'm so proud of you," she said.
"I'm proud of you too," I said.
"I know the army is dangerous, but it's your dream, and you're working so hard to get there, and I'm proud of you," she said.
"I love you," I said.
"I love you too," she said and kissed me.
"Wanna see something cool?" I said.
"Sure," She said.
"Alright well get dressed," I chuckled.
"Okay," she said. We both got dressed and she walked into the bathroom.
"Wow your bathroom is neat," She chuckled.
"Neat freak roommate remember?" I laughed and walked up behind her. I wrapped my arms around her waist and she smiled. We walked downstairs and I unlocked one of the doors to one of the dinning halls.
"Where are we going?" She said.
"Midnight snack," I said, "at 9:30." She chuckled and I put my arm around her. I opened another door and it was the self serve ice cream station.
"I'm going to gain so much weight when I get here now that I know about this," she chuckled.
"I already have," I laughed.
"You don't look like it," she said.
"Just trust me," I chuckled. We both made a bowl of ice cream and sat down on a couch in the dining area.
"I wish you could stay more than the weekend," I frowned.
"But I'll be here soon," she smiled.
"You will," I smiled and kissed her, "and we'll be together here."
"We will," she blushed, "I love you Owen."
"I love you too," I smiled.
