OWENS POV
I woke up to Amelia's alarm going off. I opened my eyes and her head was on my chest.
"Good morning," I said.
"Mmm," she mumbled as she rolled over and hit the alarm clock.
"Amelia!" Her mother called, "do not make your brother late again!"
"I'm coming!" Amelia yelled. She rolled over and opened her eyes.
"Good morning my handsome boy, oh I could get used to waking up next to you," Amelia smiled.
"Someone is in a good mood," I chuckled.
"Don't get used to it," she said and got up.
"Hey I'm gonna run back over to my house and get changed and grab my bag," I said.
"Okay," she nodded, "I'll see you at school?"
"Yeah," I said.
"Alright," she said and kissed me, "wait for me I'll walk you down."
"Okay," I said. She changed quickly and we walked downstairs.
"Hey Owen I can drive you to school if you want," Derek offered.
"Okay, thanks," I said.
"I'm sure you're more punctual than Amelia," he chuckled, "but we leave around 6:50."
"Hey I'm punctual," Amelia said.
"Amy you're ready at like 6:52," Derek chuckled.
"I'll be ready on time!" Amelia said.
-
I walked into the cafeteria and I saw Amelia talking to Callie.
"Hey," I said.
"Hi," she smiled and kissed my cheek.
"No April today?" Jackson said.
"She left early she didn't feel good," Callie said.
"That stinks," I frowned.
"Yeah," Amelia said. I looked over and Amelia was writing something down.
"Did you forget to do your homework," I chuckled.
"No it's due tomorrow," she said cutely, "I'm getting a head start."
"Woah shocking," I said.
"Oh shut up," she said and nudged me.
AMELIAS POV
I was walking out of Spanish class and met up with Callie like we did everyday.
"So question," Callie said.
"Okay," I said.
"Can you convince your brother to get Mark to talk to me, it doesn't have to be romantically, I will settle for a friendship!" Callie said.
"Settle for a friendship," I chuckled.
"Please!" Callie begged.
"I am not pulling strings for you to get your heart broken by a senior," I chuckled.
"Friendship," she corrected.
"Callie," I chuckled.
"Please Amelia," she said, "I will pay you!"
"You are relentless!" I laughed, "fine I will text Derek right now."
"Oh my gosh thank you," she said. I took out my phone and texted Derek.
"Can you make Mark and Callie friends, thanks," I sent.
"Nope," he replied.
"Derek said no," I said to Callie.
"No fair," she complained.
"I asked!" I chuckled.
"Okay what about that new senior boy, Derek must know him," she said.
"New senior boy?" I chuckled.
"Well you wouldn't care because you're all fluffy unicorns and rainbows and happiness with Owen," She said.
"Hey I'm in love with Owen but I am not a fluffy unicorn and rainbows type of girl," I laughed.
"You and me both sister," she chuckled.
"That is specifically saved for April," I said.
"Oh I agree," she said. We saw Owen and I smiled.
"Hi," I said.
"Hi," he said and came over and kissed me.
"Hey get a room," Callie said.
"Get a room," I mocked.
"Control your girlfriend," she joked as we all went out separate ways.
OWENS POV
There was a new kid at our school today, a senior, which evidentially meant Callie was going to fall for him within .5 seconds of him being here. She's practically in love with all of them, except Derek, and that's only because he's Amelia's brother, if he wasn't, she'd be all over him too.
"He's hot," Callie explained.
"Great shoot your shot," I joked.
"I can't do that," Callie said.
"And why not?" I said.
"Because Mark," Callie said.
"He doesn't know you exist," I chuckled.
"Just because you and Amelia are in your happy little bubble doesn't mean you can criticize those on the outside!" She laughed.
"My bad you're right," I said.
"Yes, of course I'm right," she chuckled as we walked into our English class.
AMELIAS POV
I was sitting in accounting and I was so bored. We were taking notes and it was boring. The door opened and I looked up and I didn't recognize the boy, maybe that new boy Callie was rambling on and on about? He did look a little older, maybe a senior?
"Uh hi I got lost upstairs I'm sorry I'm late," he said.
"Oh it's okay, there's plenty of seats, pick one and get settled in," Mrs.Jennings said. Mrs.Jennings was my accounting teacher. Boring. I hated this fucking class. I watched him come over and sit next to me, great. Annoying.
"Hey," he said.
"Hey," I said.
"Is this class cool?" He whispered.
"Boring as hell," I chuckled.
"Good to know," he chuckled.
"Mhm," I said as I continued copying notes.
"Do you have a pencil I could borrow?" He asked. God he was annoying, and irresponsible. Ugh.
"Yeah sure," I said and tossed him one of my pencils.
"Thank you," he said.
"Yup," I said.
"Just realized I never introduced myself," he chuckled.
"Okay and?" I said.
"I'm Ryan, Ryan Kerrigan," he said.
"Amelia Shepherd," I said.
