OWENS POV
I opened my eyes and Amelia was snuggled into me. She was so cute. She was still asleep so I quietly got up and grabbed my phone and walked downstairs. Megan was making pancakes with my mom.
"Good morning," my mom said, "is Amelia still asleep?"
"Yeah," I said, "so megan how was your date?"
"It wasn't a date," megan said.
"Are you sure about that," I chuckled.
"Yes, we just hung out," Megan said.
"He's a very cute boy," my mom said.
"Mom!" Megan said. I chuckled and helped them with breakfast and after a few minutes Amelia came downstairs. She was so cute. She was still in my shirt and she came over and hugged me.
"Good morning," I said.
"Good morning," she said. My mom smiled at me and I wrapped my arms around her.
"Good morning," Amelia said to my mom.
"Good morning honey," my mom smiled, "Owen I have to stop by the office in a little while."
"Okay," I said.
"You three good here?" My mom asked.
"Yeah," Megan and I said.
"Okay I'll be back in probably an hour or so," my mom said and grabbed her keys. Megan went upstairs and Amelia and I sat down to eat breakfast.
"Did you sleep well?" I asked.
"Yeah," she said, "your bed is so comfortable."
"It is," I chuckled. She smiled and we ate pancakes.
"What do you want to do today?" I asked.
"I don't know," she shrugged, "up to you."
"Do you have homework?" I asked and she shook her head no.
"Me either," I said.
"Should I text my mom?" She said.
"Sure," I said.
"I don't know what to say," she shrugged.
"Just let her know you're okay, I think she'll want to hear that," I said. She nodded and grabbed her phone.
"Okay," she said, "text sent."
"That's good," I said.
"Yeah," she said. We finished eating breakfast and Amelia started washing dishes.
"Wow Amelia doing chores?" I joked.
"Shut up," she chuckled, "you did let me spend the night."
"If you wash all my dishes you can stay forever," I joked.
"Deal," she chuckled. I walked over and pecked her lips. I held her waist as I started kissing her more and pulled her into me.
"You're so cute," she giggled as I kissed her forehead.
"So are you," I said. She smiled and pecked my lips again.
"Do you want to see if Callie, Jackson, and April wanna hang?" I said.
"Sure," She said, "sounds good to me."
AMELIAS POV
Owen has April, Jackson, and Callie over right now. We were all hanging out in his backyard by his pool. Jackson and Owen were playing basketball.
"So are you living with him?" Callie asked.
"Uh I don't know," I shrugged, "my mom and I are kinda in a rough patch right now."
"I'm sorry," April said.
"It's okay," I said, "It'll get better."
"So have you two had sex yet?" Callie said.
"No," I said.
"Really?" Callie said.
"Really," I chuckled.
"Have you talked about it? It's good to wait until marriage," April said.
"Don't listen to her," Callie chuckled.
"Um I mean we talked about it yesterday," I chuckled, "We haven't really come to an opinion about it."
"My mom says it's important to wait until marriage," April said. I chuckled and looked at Callie.
"No," I chuckled, "April I love you, but no."
"Your mom really wants you to wait until your married? What if you get married when you're 40? You're going to wait until you're 40?"
"Yes, it's my pact with god," April said.
"To each their own," I said, "but I'm not religious."
"Me either," Callie said.
"Have you done it?" I said.
"I mean no," Callie chuckled.
"I don't know how to feel about it!" I chuckled.
"Don't rush it," Callie said.
"Okay," I said. Jackson and Owen came back from playing basketball in the front yard.
"Why did you guys stop talking when we walked in," Jackson said.
"No reason," Callie said.
"Yeah," April and I said. I walked over to Owen and pecked his lips.
"Hi," I said softly.
"Hi," he smiled.
CAROLYNS POV
I was worried about Amelia, and whenever I'm worried she pushes me away. She texted me this morning and said she was fine and I believe her, but I'm her mother I have to worry. I walked past Derek's room and knocked on the door.
"Yeah?" Derek said. I opened the door and he was on his phone texting.
"Mom stop worrying about her she's fine, she's with Owen," he said.
"I know but, I don't want her to think I'm mad at her," I said and sat down.
"Why don't you just try to talk to her?" He said.
"Have you met Amelia?" I chuckled, "she is so hard to talk to."
"I know, but try," Derek said.
"Okay," I said. I grabbed my phone and walked downstairs.
"Hey how are you?" I sent. I waited a few minutes and got a response.
"I'm good how are you?" She sent.
"Miss you," I sent.
"I miss you too," she sent.
"Are you doing okay?" I sent.
"Yeah I'm fine," she sent.
"Okay, are you coming home soon?" I sent.
"Yeah probably," she sent.
"Okay," I sent.
"I love you," she sent.
"I love you too," I sent. I shut my phone off and just hopped my baby girl was okay.
