AMELIAS POV
I was walking into school with Owen and I saw Ryan waiting at my locker.
"I'll talk to him," I said.
"Okay, I'll see you at lunch?" He said.
"Yeah," I smiled and pecked his lips before walking over to my locker.
"Good morning," I said.
"Good morning," he said.
"Whatcha doing here?" I said.
"Waiting for you," he said.
"Why?" I said.
"Because," he said.
"Because why?" I said.
"I wanted to ask you if you and Owen were back together," he said.
"We are," I said.
"Oh okay," he said.
"Yeah," I said.
"So you blew me off to get back together with your ex," he said.
"Ryan," I said, "there was never anything between us."
"You don't know that," he said.
"You're literally a senior and I'm in love with Owen," I said.
"Who cares that I'm a senior?" He said.
"The law does!" I said.
"I'm not 18 yet," he said.
"That's not the point, it wouldn't have worked, Owen and I still love each other," I said, "I'm sorry it didn't go your way."
"Is this because I gave you the pills?" He asked.
"No this is because I don't like you," I said.
"Fine," he said. I grabbed my books and walked upstairs to my first period class.
OWENS POV
I was sitting at lunch next to Amelia and she put her head on my shoulder. I kissed her head and Callie smiled at me.
"Can I just say it's so good to see you guys back together," Callie chuckled.
"Yeah actually," April chuckled. Amelia looked up at me and we both smiled, I was so in love with her.
-
I was waiting at Amelia's locker and I saw her walking down the stairs with Ryan. She broke off from him and walked over to me.
"He's so annoying," she said as she opened her locked.
"Is he bothering you?" I said.
"Don't get involved," she chuckled, "it's not worth it."
"Amelia if he's bothering you," I said.
"He's not, he's just irritating," She said.
"Okay," I said.
"Are you busy today?" She asked as we started walking to the parking lot.
"Am I ever?" I said.
"Great so you can help me with my math take home test," she chuckled.
"I certainly can," I chuckled.
"You're the best," she said.
"Now do you need help or do you just want me to come over," I chuckled.
"No I need help I promise," she chuckled.
"Either way I'm happy to spend the afternoon with you," I said. I grabbed her hand as we walked over to Derek's car where Liz and Derek were waiting. Amelia and I got in the backseat and Derek drove us all home. We got out and we walked into Amelias house.
"Hey mom?" Amelia said.
"Yes honey?" She said as she came out from the hallway.
"Owens here," Amelia said.
"Hi Owen," my mom said.
"We're going to go upstairs," Amelia said.
"Do you want anything to eat?" Her mom asked. She looked at me and I shrugged.
"Sure, can we eat upstairs?" Amelia asked.
"Sure," her mom said. We walked into the kitchen and I sat down at her counter.
"What do you want?" She asked me.
"I don't care, whatever you want," I said.
"I'm making a sandwich, that good with you?" She asked cutely.
"Sure," I said.
"I'm surprised my mom let me eat upstairs," she said, "she usually watches me like a fucking hawk."
"Amelia I can hear you," Carolyn said.
"It's true!" Amelia said. I chuckled as she passed me a plate with a sandwich.
"Thank you," I said.
"You're welcome," she said and we went upstairs. She opened her door and we sat on her bed.
"You left your jacket here last night," She said and pointed to her vanity where my jacket was folded nicely.
"You mean when I wasn't here," I joked.
"Oh yes," she chuckled.
"You know you could sneak into my bed tonight," I proposed.
"I could," she smiled.
"Don't get caught," I chuckled.
"I won't," she said.
"Alright," I said and kissed her. She grabbed a packet from her bag and a pencil.
"Let's see what we got here," I said and took the packet from her.
"It's not super hard but I don't know how to do these four," She said.
"Okay," I nodded and kissed her head.
CAROLYNS POV
Owen was over and I was glad him and Amelia were back together. She was so lost without him, and it pained me to see her not be with him. The same for Owen, I mean they were perfect for one another. I was on my laptop on the couch working on some stuff for work when I saw them come down the stairs.
"I'll see you tomorrow?" Amelia said.
"Yes of course," Owen said and kissed her forehead.
"Bye I love you," amelia said.
"I love you too," Owen said, "bye Ms.Shepherd."
"Bye Owen," I said as he left. Amelia closed the door behind him and she smiled.
"You're happy," I said.
"Yeah," she smiled, "I am."
AMELIAS POV
It was almost 11 and I figured I was safe to go over to Owen's. I looked in the hallway and nobody was up. I closed my bedroom door and grabbed my phone. I opened my window and he was waiting for me.
"Go to the back door," he said. I nodded and grabbed my house key in case my window closed with the wind. I left it open a crack and then got down the ledge. I walked to Owen's back door and he opened it.
"Just be quiet," he chuckled. I nodded and followed him upstairs. We were almost to his room when we heard a voice.
"Owen are you up?" His mom said from her bedroom.
"Go," he said to me.
"Yeah mom I'm fine," he said, "just had to use the bathroom."
"Okay honey, good night," his mom said. He cane in and locked the door behind himself and smiled.
"We're pretty good at this," He said.
"Agreed," I smiled. He came over and kissed me and then we cuddled in his bed until we both fell asleep.
