No real trigger warnings. A bit of swearing a little bit of panicking but nothing major. As always take care of yourselves and thank you for reading.

"Hello again my lovelies, I have returned. What festivities are we up to today?" Roman said as he walked through the entrance into the kitchen.

After lunch that day Roman apparently had an idea he wanted to work on immediately in the imagination and had stepped out for a while. When he returned he was a bit surprised to see that none of them had gone their own ways or even left the room he last saw them in.

"Hey Ro-Ro! Wanna join us? We'll be icing cupcakes soon," Patton chirped, bouncing where he stood making frosting from scratch.

"That sounds wonderful, Heart. I'd love to join you," Roman replied walking up behind him to give him a hug around the back.

Patton let out a surprised squeak when Roman pressed a kiss to his neck. Roman chuckled at the blushing expression on his face, giving him a second kiss on the temple before he moved over to Logan who was sitting at the table reading a book called "The Circular Staircase". He draped himself over Logan's shoulders kissing the top of his head.

"Good book?" Roman asked.

"Enjoyable, although I still prefer 'The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes'," Logan replied.

Roman gave a hum of acknowledgement before moving on to visit his final boyfriend who was cleaning the baking residue off the counters for Patton. He snuck up behind him to give him a hug but was stopped by a finger to the forehead. Virgil turned around and smirked up at him.

"You don't know how tempted I was to smack you with this dirty rag," Virgil said.

Roman took a step back holding his hands up in defense.

"Thank you for not doing that," Roman chuckled nervously.

Virgil let out a soft snort and nodded for Roman to come join him as he finished washing the counter.

"What's up with the lovey attitude?" Virgil asked.

"Do I need an excuse?" Roman asked leaning against the clean part of the counter.

"No, I'm just wondering what urgent business you needed to take care of that put you in this sort of mood," Virgil replied, raising a brow.

"Just writing out and finalizing a few things that I want to do in the near future," Roman said with an impish expression. "The rest is a surprise."

Virgil rolled his eyes and put down the rag, having finished his task.

"You and your surprises," Virgil chuckled as he wrapped his arms around Roman's shoulders.

Roman leaned down and gave Virgil a peck on the forehead.

"You know you love it," Roman replied, cupping Virgil's face lovingly.

"Perhaps," The timer went off beside them and Virgil was forced to squirm out from between Roman and the counter. "Give me a sec."

Virgil scooted away and put on a pair of red oven mitts. He pulled open the oven and removed a tray of a dozen cupcakes.

"Can you put those in the fridge to cool a bit while I finish mixing the colors? The frosting will stick better that way," Patton called over.

Virgil gave a nod and did as he was instructed before heading over to Patton to see what he was up to. Patton had separated the frosting into different bags and added drops of colored food dye into them.
