Warning, I got like no sleep last night so this is probably like completely unedited despite me reading it over, so I'm very sorry that it probably has more typos than usual. Anyways I don't think there is anything very triggering about this chapter, just that there are mentions of characters dealing with trauma and prioritizing said people over ones self, but that is it. As always take care of yourselves and thank you for reading.

Things had been going surprisingly smoothly for Virgil during his sessions. After the first time with Logan he'd gone one to try with Roman and again with Patton. He never let things get any further than they did with Logan, he still wasn't sure if he was quite ready for that, it still felt a bit ominous. His time with Roman was mostly the same as Logan's, he was a bit less cautious and much more passionate about everything he did but he still made sure not to do anything Virgil didn't like. Patton on the other hand was very hesitant despite being the third one, he was reluctant to touch Virgil in that way, especially after what had happened a while ago with Deceit taking his form. He was worried he'd scare Virgil. When Virgil reassured him that Deceit hadn't made him afraid of him and went through with the session, Patton genuinely ended up crying in relief. They ended up ending that session early and just letting the two of them lay on the couch in each other's embrace, which in some aspects was far more rewarding than anything else they could have done in that time.

Today was one of the off days where he just worked on feeling comfortable with his body and letting others see it. After yesterday's session with Patton the moral side chose to opt out today to give himself a break. Currently he was down in the kitchen, Virgil assumed he was baking or something but never stopped to ask. Logan had to go see Thomas to work him through an email conversation with a new potential sponsor. In conclusion this meant he was alone with Roman in Roman's bedroom, both of them stripped down the bare minimum. Sure he's done this before, he was alone with Logan just like this before that time Roman had been called out to help Thomas with the editing. Still, with the new kind of sessions they'd been doing recently, it was a little awkward. Currently they were watching Merlin on a large television Roman had summoned. Virgil sat close enough to touch Roman but wasn't necessarily leaning on him or anything. Roman seemed to have senses he was a bit off so he hadn't made any move to touch him any further yet.

"Are you feeling alright, Virgil?" Roman finally asked.

Virgil jumped a bit at the sudden comment but was quickly able to catch himself and calm down.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Virgil replied, giving him a small smile.

"You sure? You're really tense," Roman mused skeptically.

Virgil internally grimaced, he's really hoped Roman wouldn't notice.

"I don't know. I guess I just keep working myself up that I'm having trouble relaxing," Virgil sighed, shifting around a bit.

Roman looked over at Virgil thoughtfully, pondering his response.

"Perhaps... Would you like to try something a little different today?" Roman suggested slowly.

Virgil tensed a bit at the suggestion, wondering what he could mean. Roman held up his hands defensively and shifted a little further away from Virgil in hopes of not scaring him.

"Don't worry, I'm not suggesting anything too out there and you're more than welcome to say no. I just thought maybe I could help you relax," Roman reassured him.

Virgil's lips pressed together as he thought about it, taking into account his current mental state to attempt to figure out what he'd be up to doing. He didn't feel that horribly, just awkward and a bit worried about things getting out of hand.
