Fifteen hours late, I'm sorry. I'm having a lot of issues. I've been working on this chapter as often as I can, just finished and hopefully you'll enjoy? Anyways the only warnings for this chapter is only just very, very brief references to abuse/rape, and sexual content. As always take care of yourselves and thank you for reading.

He didn't push after that. He was calm and patient. There was no need to rush into anything or force Logan into something he didn't want. He wasn't going to bring it up unless either Logan talked about it first or if Logan seemed distraught by it. That being said, he was hoping Logan would want to try again soon. It'd already been several days and hated to admit it but he was getting antsy. Still, he could be patient if he had to.

Virgil sighed in boredom, leaning over the couch to crack his back. Dinner was over and everyone else had vanished, probably busy with something. He supposed he could just head to bed early and they would join him later.

"Virgil Darling?"

Virgil looked up and over to see Logan standing in the entrance to the imagination. His tie had been removed and his hair was a bit messier, giving him a far more casual and relaxed look.

"Hey Lo, what's up?" Virgil asked, standing up to approach him.

"Well, I was wondering if you would like to accompany me on a romantic escapade to the imagination," Logan requested.

Virgil blushed, realizing that he was being invited out on a date by Logan. He knew he shouldn't get his hopes up, it was probably just an apology for not being able to give him what he desired yet. Still there was always a chance Logan might have taken what Virgil said to heart and finally decided to give it another shot.

"I'd love to, Logan," Virgil replied.

Logan nodded for Virgil to follow him into the imagination. When he reached the other side of the portal there was a large blanket with a dim battery powered lantern at the top of it, resting in the middle of a field. Above them was a dazzling night sky filled with thousands of bright stars.

"I thought we could do some stargazing if that interested you," Logan suggested.

Virgil nodded eagerly and allowed himself to be led over to the blanket where he laid down on his back, staring up at the twinkling night sky.

"It's beautiful," Virgil murmured peacefully. "That is big dipper up there right?"

"Yep and right there to the left is draco. If you look a little further over there..."

Logan went on to talk about all of the constellations visible in late summer, pointing to them his left hand while his right one twisted together with Virgil's. His eyes glowed with such happiness as he talked about the constellations Virgil had barely even ever heard of. Looking at the expression on Logan's face, Virgil could honestly fall in love all over again.

The night was so peaceful, the sound of frogs and cicadas in the distance. It was warm but there was a breeze keeping away any intense humidity. It was so Logan, and he didn't want it any other way. Just holding Logan's hair was comforting enough.

He blinked up at the sky again and saw a bright streak.

"Shooting star!" Virgil called out, pointing to it with his free right hand.

"Did you make a wish?" Logan asked.

Virgil smirked. He had made one, a wish that all of them could be happy forever and stay together no matter what inevitable issues came their way.

"Yep," Virgil grinned.

"What was it?" Logan inquired.

"It's bad luck to tell your wish, it might not come true," Virgil replied, this was a wish he very much wanted to come true.
