The girl left the next morning after plotting a course to get to New York. She would have to use her sense of smell to find Erina once she made it to New York. (Y/n) told the researchers where she was going and why, the foundation staff understood after learning her connection to the Joestars. She was wished well by the staff and offered a ride to New York which she declined. She wanted to use her muscles after she had been asleep for so long. She was given a little purse to attach to her belt, it had some human money in it. The researcher explained what money was and what it could be used for, they were giving it to her just in case she needed to use it for something. She said goodbye to the researchers that had been taking care of her before leaving.

Her powerful yet tiny legs pushed her off into the air, allowing her to move quickly through Washington DC. The feeling of the wind in her face made her feel free. Her old instincts of movement kicked in as she propelled herself towards her destination, using whatever to lift off of or change direction to a safer route. Sometimes she scared the odd human during her travel. Her adorning jewelry jingled with every impact and liftoff in a melody of her movements. Her destination was closer with every bound she made. The sun was overhead as she landed in New York finally. She landed on top of a building and took a deep breath to take in all the scents and filter out the ones she was looking for. Her dress and cloak fluttered in the wind that was blowing from the Atlantic Ocean as she looked over the grand human city. Much had changed from what she had seen two thousand years ago. She smiled as she felt the amount of human life in this area. She felt something. The unmistakable energy of hamon.

(Y/n) jumped from roof to roof and looked down, she saw a young man that looked very similar to her brother, Jonathan. He had used hamon against two in police uniforms to protect a dark skinned young man. The two ran off together. The small ancient child followed while staying out of their visual range. She was glad humans did not have the tendency to look above 45° angles very often, otherwise she would have been spotted by half of the city. She watched these young men introduce themselves. She heard the dark skinned one introduce himself as 'Smokey brown'. The taller one said his name was Joseph Joestar, but that he liked to be called Jojo. So this was indeed the man she was looking for. He looked a lot like his grandfather. The ancient child followed them to find Erina. Erina had aged quite a lot in 49 years. The girl watched them get introduced to each other. She waited and jumped down.
The plum haired girl handed on the shoulders of Joseph and looked around, "I'm looking for the Joestar family, have you seen them? It's been about Forty-nine years since I last saw them." The girl heard a gasp from the old woman and looked at her, "Oh Erina! Hello, you have changed very much!" The little girl jumped off of the young brunet man and spun around.

Erina looked surprised at the child who suddenly appeared before them, "You are the reason Speedwagon called us here." (Y/n) gave the old woman a smile, "Perhaps~" Joseph grumbled and turned to his grandmother, "Who is this brat? How do you know her?" Erina shot her grandson a look, "Joseph. This is my sister in law, your grandfather's stepsister. The one I had told you about." The brunet looked down at the girl and knelt to her height as Smokey also bent down to look, "This little girl is over fifty years old?" "I'm actually over four thousand.," the little girl grinned to the young man, "Jojo."
She heard the brunet shudder as she turned to Smokey, "Hello! I saw Jojo help you. I actually have been following you two for a bit." Joseph picked her up, he looked into her red eyes. He grinned, "You're pretty cute. But it is hard to see your face with this hood over your head." "Please don't take it off. It is to protect me from the sun.," the little girl spoke with a soft voice, "Could you put me down as well, unless you want me to ride on your shoulder." Joseph placed the girl down and walked out onto the road. He almost got run over by a taxi driver. He started to get into an argument with the driver. Erina made him stop. Joseph made the taxi driver take them to where they needed to go. (Y/n) on Smokey's lap and stared at Joseph as the brunet made an absolute fool of himself. The little girl ignored the idiot next to her.
