Chapter Twenty Nine: Blood in the waves.

After searching for a while, the group was able to find the charter boat. (Y/n) stayed on Polnareff's shoulder as she was comfortable there. The child still had her cloak covering her head to protect her from the harsh sunlight. "Can you tell me why you are up there?," Polnareff asked the child that sat on his shoulder. "Because I cannot walk as fast as you.," the little girl answered, "And You are comfortable." Her answer got a small laugh out of the Frenchman as they boarded the boat. The crew was small but they were dedicated sailors of the Speedwagon foundation. The ship was a nice vessel and was comfortable. Everyone got situated on the boat and they departed from the port.
"It will take three days to get to Singapore from here in Hong Kong.," Joseph said, "But we can take this time to relax for a while." Joseph had changed into a striped shirt similar to what the crew was wearing to be more comfortable. He stretched in the sun, "Such a warm day." Kakyoin and Jotaro were sitting on a pair of deck chairs, they still had their school uniforms on. The red haired Japanese teen was reading a book as Jotaro seemed to be taking a nap.

"Seriously you two. Can't you put on something other than your school uniforms? That has to be incredibly hot.," Joseph said to the two teenagers. "Well, we are students, we have to act as such.," Kakyoin said as he turned a page in his book. "When your mind is clear, even fire can seem cool.," Avdol said. Was his words some sort of saying? The child did not know as her perch groaned. "You know, girls won't fall for stiffs like you.," the Frenchman spoke. (Y/n) stretched in the sun and almost fell off of the French man. She quickly righted herself with help from Polnareff.
"Careful there.," the man said as he supported the tiny child on his shoulder. The girl gave him a nod of thanks and hugged his head. She could feel Polnareff smile a bit as he got hugged. "Careful with the hair okay?," He asked and got the girl holding his head tighter as he got up from leaning on the rails. The sound of a child struggling against one of the crew members. The child on the Frenchman's looked over with the rest of the group. There was a young human being held by one of the crew members. Joseph walked over to see what was going on. (Y/n) jumped off of Polnareff to investigate as well.

"What is going on here?," Joseph asked the crewman, "I thought I asked that no civilians be on the vessel." "I'm so sorry sir. This is a stowaway. Must have shuck in on the cargo.," the sailor replied to the older man. "Stowaway?," Joseph inquired as his adopted daughter walked closer to the stowaway. Her red eyes stared at the stowaway, studying the features. She leaned in and sniffed, taking in the scent, determining exactly who this human was. The plum haired girl stepped back, "This child is no danger to the crew or anyone. No need to call the naval police. I just want to know why she boarded our charter boat."
The child looked at the stowaway, "Answer me please. But why have you snuck onto this boat?" "I just need to get to Singapore! I am going to meet my father there!," the stowaway said in a panic. The sailor still had an iron grip on the stowaway, "I'm sorry, miss. But we have to report stowaways to the police, it is the rules since some stowaways can be criminals making their escape." "Let me go! I'll kick your balls in!," the Vulgar stowaway yelled at the man holding her. (Y/n) knew that this girl's threats were harmless. Unlike her, this human girl was completely harmless.

The stowaway kept threatening and thrashing before being scared at the idea of being arrested by the police. The sailor and Stowaway traded words before the girl jumped into the waters to swim back. This got Kakyoin and Jotaro's attention. The plum haired pillar girl sensed something in the water, something large. "There is something going after her!," the little girl said. "A shark! Sharks are common in these waters!," the sailor who caught the brunette stowaway said. Joseph and Polnareff called to the brunette, calling for her to come back.
Jotaro dashed past the group and jumped into the water to rescue her. (Y/n) was not able to see it, but she sensed that Jotaro was using star platinum to beat up the shark. The giant fish went flying and was killed by the merciless impacts. The teen grabbed the overalls the stowaway was wearing and felt her chest by accident, "So she was right. You are a girl." The Japanese teen pulled the stowaway back to the boat after taking her hat off of her. (Y/n) was happy that they were okay. Her eyes looked up when she saw movement further out. The shark's carcass was cut in half. She sensed stand energy.
