-Brianna's POV-
The week went by, and I felt as if Luke was avoiding me. He didn't dare look at me, and if there was a slight chance he was, he quickly looked away. I would always see him with Brook around his arm or making out. And after school, he wouldn't even come upstairs to the kitchen or break. He even went as far as skipping English class every day for the entire week. I honestly didn't mind too much, as I was confused and felt what happened between us was just...not normal. If course we still have this biography project, so I showed up at his house since we would be working in his room today. I was honestly scared of the horrifying things that could be in Luke's room, and when I told Ally and Sophie they warned me as well. I just had to text them the code word "kiwi" and they would either call or come over to rescue me.
I took a deep breath before knocking on Luke's door. I waited only a few seconds until his mom opened it with a smile.
"Brianna! How are you? Come in!" She exclaimed, opening the door a little more for me to enter.
I returned the smile. I had only met Liz two times from her dropping Luke off at my house to practice when he was too young to drive, but that's it.
"Hi Liz! I'm just here to work with Luke for school! We're supposed to write biographies about each other and decided to meet up here for the day," I explained.
"Oh, he didn't tell me! Though, I'm not really surprised he didn't," she joked, but she knew she was right. That's just how Luke is. "Anyway, I believe he is up in his room at the moment. Just up the stairs and to the right," she directed.
"Thanks!" I thanked her before following her directions and found Luke's room.
I stared at the door for a minute, not sure what to expect. How would Luke act today? Would he go on like nothing happened? Try to talk about it? Kick me out? I just hope it's not the last one.
I lifted my hand to knock, but the door opened before I could. I moved to the side as Brook came through, giving me a smug smile before going downstairs. Something tells me that Like forgot about our meet up , or he's running late. Neither would be a surprise.
I hesitantly walked into the room, being cautious and slow. "Luke?" I looked around and saw a shirtless Luke.
My eyes widened at the sight, Luke looking up at that moment. "Can I help you, or are you just gonna stare?"
I quickly covered my eyes with, embarrassed. "I wasn't staring, I literally saw you for a second," I snapped.
I heard Luke chuckle before some rustling. "You can look now," he said.
I slowly lowered my hands, peeking to make sure. It's not that Luke was ugly and has a terrible body, it was the exact opposite actually. I just don't need to see him like that and be seen as a perv, or even worse, become attracted to him. One kiss didn't make me attracted to him, but it did make feel a bit differently towards him.
"You...know that we're working in here today, right?" I asked, moving past what happened.
"Yeah, why do you think I sent Brook out?"
I shrugged, looking around his room. "Just asking..." I trailed off. His room is messy just like most teenage boys. Mostly clothes covered the floor, and I think I even saw a pizza box! His walls had some band posters, his bed unmade though I know why it was at the moment. His dresser had a few things on it like hairbrush, hair gel, hair dryer...basically hair stuff. The thing that caught my eye though was his guitar in the corner of his room.
