-Brianna's POV-
The dreaded day of spending time getting to know Luke eventually came, and I was just hoping he would at least try not to act like a jerk. Key word; try.
I was currently waiting for him in the park, sitting on a bench. I've been here for nearly ten minutes, and Luke still wasn't here. Shocker. He probably forgot about or decided not to come. Double shocker. Note the sarcasm.
I looked to the side when I noticed someone sitting beside me. I felt both annoyed but relieved it was Luke since he had made me wait, but he still showed up. "What took you so long?" I asked, not at all wanting to be polite to him.
"Me and Brooke..."
"I'll stop you right there," I cut him off, not even wanting him to finish that sentence. Lord knows what they do is not innocent.
Luke just chuckled. "Are we gonna start...whatever we're doing?"
"Yeah, we'll just start with basic stuff," I said, pulling out a notebook and pencil and flipping to a blank page. Luke raised an eyebrow at me. "What?"
"You're going to write everything down?" he questioned.
"Well, we're writing biographies about each other so I have to have information about you. I'm not going to remember everything, and I know you aren't either so..." I grabbed a spare pencil and a piece of paper, handing it to Luke. "Here's a paper and pencil to write things down as well."
Luke just stared at the supplies before standing up and walking away. I rolled my eyes, shoving everything back in my bag before leaving my stuff and following Luke.
"What are you doing?" I called to him, wishing my legs were longer so I wouldn't have to use so much energy just to catch up to him. "Luke!"
"Look, I know you want to get this done, but I don't need a whole bunch of information about me written down," Luke turned around to face me, thankfully no longer walking.
"How else am I going to remember anything?" I asked, not meaning to snap.
Luke shrugged. "It's not like you'll never see me again. Just try to pay attention and use what you remember."
I crossed my arms, not finding this a good strategy. "And what about you? Because we both know you are not good at paying attention," I challenged.
"Better than you think. I use this thing called "selective hearing", and I usually just choose not to listen people, especially you."
I glared at him. "Fine, let's just talk," I sighed, giving in.
Talking, or "interviewing", Luke is not easy. I'd ask him questions and he'd answer them with the shortest answers. So as of now, I basically only have information about his family, birthday, full name, and a few of his favorite things like color and animal.
"So, are you just going to ask me questions the entire time, or do I get to ask you any?" Luke asked as we continued to walk around the park.
I shrugged. "I guess you can ask me questions too. Will you actually listen though?"
"Probably not," he replied, causing me to roll my eyes. "Okay, maybe," Luke changed his answer after seeing my reaction.
"Then ask me any question," I gave permission.
"Okay...favorite color?" he asked.
