-Brianna's POV-

Throughout the week, I had been spending more time with Drew, but still didn't kiss him yet.  I guess since last time, he knew I wasn't quite prepared.

Things with Luke however have been...different.  We eventually finished the poem, but we never really talked or even fought.  The only time we talked was really about the poem, which we had discussed and decided that he would tell the guys that he had a new song.  The guys liked it of course and are planning to perform it, which makes me pretty excited.

It was Friday though, and I was excited for the weekend.  I'm pretty sure Drew and I are going to hang out, so  I'm hoping I can get another chance to get my first kiss.

"Okay class, turn in your poems up at the front!"  Mrs. Gregory announced as last period started.  Of course I had mine and Luke's poem so I walked up and turned it in, hoping we wouldn't have to write another one.

"So, I'm sure you'll all be happy to hear we are no longer writing poems!" Mrs. Gregory said, as if she could read my mind.  "Instead, we are going to work with something that isn't really talked about or used when writing in school; biographies."  I furrowed my eyebrows.  Biographies?  Why biographies?  "Now, you and your assigned partner will have a month to write a three page biography on each other.  One paper per person," she explained, handing out the rubric and making the class groan; especially me.  "You will see you'll need to know simple things like their birthday, likes and dislikes, and some things that can be personal like family, past, and other things.  This will really connect you to the other person and teach you there's more to someone than you might think.  It will teach you a different way of writing," she explained.

I looked down at the paper when she handed it to me, going down the list of requirements until I saw another category with a list of places.  I raised my hand, wondering what those could be for.

"Brianna?" Mrs. Gregory called on me.

"Um...why is there a list of places?" I asked curiously.

"Those are places you and your partner can go to talk and get to know each other.  It may seem stupid, but being in different surroundings will not only make it interesting, but can reveal a lot about the other person.  For example, maybe going to their house will let you see their home and what's important to them.  Of course you can choose your own places, that would be even better!"  Mrs. Gregory explained.

"Do we have to go anywhere with them?"  Luke blurted out from the back, and I knew we were thinking the same thing; we did not want to go out together.

"I strongly suggest it.  Believe it or not, it makes for a better grade to have a better understanding," Mrs. Gregory replied, clearly not liking that Luke didn't raise his hand.  "Now, get together with your partners and discuss your plans for the month and how you'll approach this assignment for the rest of class!"

I sighed, standing up and walking over to Luke.  I sat across from him in an empty desk, taking my notebook out.  "Okay, so..."

"We'll start on Sunday," Luke interrupted me.

I raised my eyebrows, surprised he decided to pick a date so close.  "Really?"

"Yeah, because I know the first thing you were going to say was that we should get this done and over with as soon as possible, and Sunday is the soonest day I can do anything."

I was actually impressed Luke figured that out, and got it right.  "Okay, so where are we going to go?" I asked the next question as I wrote in my planner that we would work on Sunday.
