-Brianna's POV-
By Friday, it seemed most of the school had gotten use to me and Luke dating. I was a bit disappointed that Mikey and I hadn't spoke much, but Sophie talked to me like normal and Ally was sort of warming up to me.
I walked downstairs, ready to go to the boy's gig tonight. It was outside so and made sure to keep my phone in my hand to wait for Luke's text. I don't think Luke and Mikey have spoken much either, but I'm glad the band is okay. I think Ashton and Calum have helped them just focus on music.
"Hey, do you need a ride to the gig?" Mikey asked me once I got downstairs.
I stared at him, a bit surprised he was talking to me. "Um...no. Luke's gonna pick me up soon. I didn't think you'd want to take me anywhere Luke is going," I told him, crossing my arms. I'm glad he's talking to me, but after how he talked to me and about Luke I wasn't going to be all sweet.
"Brianna, I just don't think it's a good idea for you two to date," Mikey said.
"I know, and I don't care! You're wrong about him!" I defended Luke, my phone vibrating right after. I pulled it out and saw a text from Luke. "I got to go, my loyal and good boyfriend is here," I said, slipping on my shoes and walking out the door.
I opened the car door to the car that I have now grown use to and smiled once I saw . He leaned over and I filled the space between us with a quick peck on his lips.
"Hey, ready to go?" he asked as I shut the door.
"Yup," I breathed, already feeling better now that I was with Luke.
"Everything okay?" Luke asked, backing out now.
I buckled my seat belt and nodded. "Yeah, everything is great! You know, other than the usual problems but I'm fine!" I assured him. Luke remained silent, glancing over at me and giving me a disbelieving look. I sighed. "I just...ran into Mikey on my way out, and of course he had to say how he didn't want us together," I shook my head, my arms crossed.
"Well, he already knows that we're together, and it's gonna stay that way," Luke said confidently. Hearing Luke speak confidently about our relationship made me smile and feel more confident about us. "How about we talk about something else though?" Luke suggested.
"Like what?"
"Like the fact that we're performing a new song tonight, and I may or may not have written it about you," Luke smiled as he spoke, and I could swear I saw a bit of a blush too.
I smiled and sat up, uncrossing my arms as my mood lifted. "Really? You wrote another song about me?"
Luke shrugged. "You just inspire me."
I smiled and looked down, feeling myself blush as well. "You know...we should write a song together," I said.
"We have, two actually," Luke reminded, going back to our two poems. It kind of seemed like we wrote those so long ago since it was before we were dating, or even liked each other.
"I know but...they weren't meant to be songs. I want to actually write a proper song, intended to be a song," I explained to the best of my ability.
