I was in the middle of telling Katrina about how I wanted to go see the venue of our wedding when a searing pain filled my head.
I couldn't even react before my vision and hearing faded to nothing.
Oh god, was I dying?
I couldn't dwell on that thought for too long before memories came flooding back into my mind.
Visions of the night Colby and I met came first. He was asking me about my job, and if I played any instruments as I sat uncomfortably on his couch, wearing his clothes.
The memories continued, filling in every single gap that was missing.
The late nights of Colby comforting me after nightmares.
The walks along the beach we would have when either of us just wanted to get away.
Hanging out with all of our friends, goofing off and playing random board games.
Images of Kat, Devyn, Tara, and I having countless sleepovers and doing eachothers hair and makeup.
An image of me spinning around in my wedding dress as they all smiled happily at me.
The guys taking me to the witch's forest and us getting arrested.
My birthday, when we went to the haunted house and I was scared shitless.
Giving birth to Mia and being so absolutely annoyed that it was taking so long.
Moving into the new house and constantly forcing people to go to the store for me since I was pregnant.
Colby and I dancing in the rain outside of the hospital when we went to visit my dad.
Feeding Mia solid food for the first time as she giggled at me and Colby trying to eat the carrots.
Every good memory filled my brain giving my heart a sense of relief. That was until all of the bad memories flooded at once.
Jason and Jen constantly torturing me.
Me finding out about my dads accident.
Someone breaking into our home, and me pulling a gun on the intruders.
The seizures.
My mom telling me I was dead to her.
The car accident playing on a loop.
A literal demon haunting us.
Stephanie throwing me against the wall.
All of it.
"Cora baby please breathe...SAM ARE YOU CALLING?!" Colby's voice rang through as my hearing came back. Kat was crying next to me as I felt Colby's hands on my face, "come back to me, please come back to me." He whispered as my vision blurred back into place.
I was hyperventilating, probably from all of the bad memories flooding my brain at once.
Colby was looking down and whispering to himself, "please let her come back please be okay. I can't do this without her."
I moved my hand and lifted his face, "c-Cora?" He asked and I smiled at him, "oh my god. Are you okay? Please god tell me you're okay." He begged as tears formed in my eyes,
