I open the door of my dorm, not expecting to be meeted by bright lights, and a very zealous Cole.
“Ari!” He sighed in relief as he came directly to me and captured me in a bone-cracking hug. Normally I would smack the living hell out of him for being so touchy, but the cause of events, I responded the same way as I just let in the warmth and support a true friend always offers no matter what.
“You smell like tuna.” Cole commented, ruining the moment.
“And you’re an ass.” I said shoving him away as he laughs wholeheartedly.
It was when I found a medium sized gash on the right side of his neck. My eyes widened and deep fear was spreading all over my head.
“Oh my God!! Cole what happened?!” I said as I went up to him and touched the still fresh wound.
“Umm, yeah.” Cole started.
I couldn’t believe he was being so chill about this. I quickly took out some cotton swabs and rubbing alcohol.
“NO!” Cole staggered away from me. He hates whenever I give him aid to him whenever he had injuries.
“Cole, COME BACK! I ordered him. He jumped on Maddie’s bed and cowered away far away from me.
“This is all because of your stupid possessive unhuman lover!”Cole shrieked as I jumped on the bed and trapped him.
“I thought you said you can escape him like Houdini and locks!” I sarcastically said. Cole gave me the, ‘Shut the eff up’ looks, and look annoyed with pain as I examined the cut more closely.
“Cole, how are you even alive with a cut that deep!” I exclaimed.
“Well you’re fiancee need a manicure pronto!” He joked while grunting in pain again.
“Logan did this to you?” I said in disgust.
“Ooooh girl, it’s a good thing I escaped or else I would’ve been a shish kebab for dinner.” He joked again.
Yeah, that another thing about Cole, whenever he is in pain, he tends to try to ignore the pain by making jokes. Which concerns a lot of people. Jokes aside, I dwell into the thought of what Logan was capable of doing. I mean to get to me he tortured and caused pain to people around me. He says he loves me and promises me the universe, but can he promise me to never let the demon inside him overcome him
