I stood next to the K.I.A stone, hands clenched at my side. Earlier I'd spoken to Ibiki about the number of casualties and it pains me to think about the large number of more names to be engraved into this stone. Konoha had taken a large blow, but without my father's sacrifice, we would have lost a countless amount of citizens as well as shinobi forces. His death hadn't reached my soul yet, but I could feels it's icy fingers searching it's way through my body. Too many things have happened today. Too many, impossible, things. I had met the two people that shaped Konoha into the great village it is, the founding Hokage. Hashirama and Tobirama were some of the greatest shinobi that had ever lived, and they comforted me as my father sealed away his soul. It still didn't make sense, my new found ability. I'd discovered a way to almost teleport myself when I am unconscious. My form wasn't a complete physical one, but I was able to be hurt and move things. Before, I had opened doors that lead me into the past and my visions are of the future. As a toll, my visions take away my sight and drain me of my energy, but my dreams just give me a bad headache. Orochimaru told me that my eyes are evolving, as did Hashirama, but what did they mean? What abilities do I have that haven't finished evolving? What more can my eyes see?

I sigh, fingers tracing Obito's name carved deep into the stone.
"You're alive then, aren't you, Obito?" I ask, my voice a void of emotion. I didn't know what to feel... Happy that he was alive? Mad that he didn't come back to the village? Glad that he was still breathing? Sad that I'd spent all theses years morning for him?

Anger mixes with my sadness, clenching my fists against my face. I glare at the stone, wishing for it to disappear.
"Why?" I ask, glaring at Obito's name. "Why didn't you just come back? Why did you just abandon your village? Why would you just..." I freeze, backing away from the stone. "Why am I even talking to this stone? It's not as if Obito could be listening anyway. He's off who knows where doing who knows what.."

I turn on my heel, making my way back towards the village. I walk through the rubbled streets, helping an elderly lady carry her groceries through the destroyed paths. She smiles at me, thanking me greatfully. I nod, quickly taking off towards my apartment. My good deed reminded me of Obito, how he'd always be late due to him helping others. His name stung my heart, but not in the way it normally did. I didn't feel sad, not anymore... It stung with anger and hurt. For the first time ever, I wanted to keep Obito's name far away from my thoughts.

Whenever I got back to my apartment, I open the door and I'm instantly met by a huge embrace. Blonde hair fills my vision and my ribs basically crunch under the pressure of his hug.
"You're the best Sensei ever, Himi!" Naruto yells, nestling his face against me. "Believe it!"
I was frozen, eyes wide at the sudden display of affection. My eyes meet Kakashi's, who was standing in the kitchen. He smiles at me, looking up from his cooking. Just his simple gesture melts me, unfreezing in Naruto's arms. I ruffle his hair, smiling down at him.
"I am pretty great, huh?" I say, winking. Naruto nods, releasing me from his embrace. A smell hits my nose, instantly making my mouth water. I step forward into my apartment, closing the door behind me. "Whatcha makin', Kakashi?"
"Just some miso soup..." Kakashi says, cutting up some eggplant and adding it to the pot. I nod, smiling at him.
"That's your favorite food, right?" I ask, sitting down beside Sasuke on the couch. Kakashi winks, laughing quietly. I turn to Sasuke, seeing Den asleep in his lap.
"Den really likes you, Suke." I say, enjoying the two of them together. "It's cute."
"Tsk." Sasuke says, narrowing his eyes slightly. His expression was serious, but humor was present in his eyes. "Get him of of me. His been on my lap for the past two hours."
I laugh as Naruto tucks into my side. He doesn't say anything, but he holds me close. I look down at him, confusion flickering across my face. He doesn't look up at me, but his grip tightens around my waist. I smile softly, putting my arm around him. To be honest, I enjoyed him snuggling against me. Sasuke watches, jealousy flashing in his eyes. I quickly pull him in as well, tucking him on my other side. Sasuke's head rests on my shoulder, quietly nestling against me. The rare moment of silence with Naruto and Sasuke, plus their sudden need of affection, removed the thoughts that had plagued my mind.
The boys stayed attached to me for the rest of the night. Whenever dinner was ready, they insisted on sitting at my side and they didn't argue about anything the whole time. Kakashi sat in front of me, watching the boys smile and talk to me casually. My gaze finds his and he smiles at me with closed eyes. I smile back, tapping my foot against his once to tell him that I'm okay. He taps mine back, understanding.
