Song- Every Night by Imagine Dragons
"Searching to find myself, but all I find is you. I can hardly stand myself, what am I to you? If you can find a reason, you could let me know. I'm coming home to you, every night."

Sasuke left early the next morning, training by himself. I had asked him if he would want me to come, but he insisted that I should stay home and take a break.
"The Chūnin exams start today, Sensei. You should have this time to yourself." He said, walking off without another word.

Time to myself, my ass. I haven't had time to myself in months. I don't even know what to do now that I have a couple of hours until Kakashi said he'd be here. I click my tongue, looking around for something to do. My eyes wonder my room, looking at my desk area. I walk over to it, picking up some paper and my travel case full of art supplies. Before I head out, I change into a pair of black shorts and a red Sarutobi shirt, emblem on the back. I pick Den up from my bed, setting him on my waist.
"Let's go on the roof, Den." I say, picking up my equipment. "I'm in the mood to draw."

Once I find myself on the roof, I sit on the edge. My feet dangle from the edge and I lean against a wall, just enough room to sit. Den sat next to me, curling up against my legs. I pick up my paper, tapping the pencil to my face.
"Hmm... What should I draw, Den?" I ask, ruffling his fur. He looked up at me, tilting his head. I smile, shrugging. "You want me to draw you? That's pretty narcissistic, Bubba." Den makes a cute noise, wagging his tail.
"Do you want me to draw Kakashi?" I ask, Den instantly perking up at the sound of Kakashi's name. He yips, paws resting on my leg.
"Okay, okay! I'll do it! Jeez, those puppy eyes..." I say, shaking my head. "Hmm... How can I draw him just from memory?" Den looks at me as if he was listening. "What? You think I can picture him that well in my head?" I ask, watching Den tilt his head again. "What gave you that idea?" Den just blinks.
"Well, you are... You're not wrong. But that's just because I have a good memory!" I say, defending myself. I pull up a mental image of Kakashi and start to sketch the outline of his body. I start with his broad shoulders, working my way down. After I finish a rough sketch, I show Den.
"What do you think? It's a full body." I ask, watching Den scan the paper. "What? You think I made him too thick? Psh, have you even seen his backside?" Den tilts his head, and I laugh with my face heating up. I turn back to my drawing. I sketch his uniform, the flak jacket and his pants. I draw his sandals and gloves, carefully drawing each fold. I bring my legs in closer, resting the paper on my knees. I lean in, starting to draw his head. I do his hair, leaning it perfectly to the left. I draw his mask as well, his headband pushed up on his forehead. I take a deep breath, starting on his face. I draw him smiling, his eyes closed. I carefully drew his scar, pulling it down his left eye. Once I was satisfied with the base sketch, I showed Den again. Den barks, wagging his tail.
"Do you recognize him, Den? It's Kakashi!" I say, returning back to my drawing. "It really does look like him, huh?" I start to shade it, adding finishing touches. After I'm done, I was extremely satisfied with the finished product. The shading added a lot of depth. I grin, winking at Den.
"Look how perfectly I captured his handsomeness!"

"Who's handsomeness?" Kakashi asks, looking over my shoulder. I freeze, instantly hiding the drawing behind my back.
"Wha? What?" I ask, standing on the ledge. "You're not supposed to put salt in the freezer!' Den barks in agreement, staring up at Kakashi with his tail wagging. Kakashi quirks an eyebrow and shrugs, giving Den a weird expression.
"You know what, forget I even asked." Kakashi says, laughing. "What did you draw?"
"Hm..." I smile, bouncing on my heels. "I was just doodling..."
"I remember you were really good at drawing, Himiko." Kakashi says, smiling at me. "Can I see?"
"Um..." I blink, looking at Kakashi's smiling face. A grin appears on my face, realizing that I literally drew him just perfectly. "Sure! You can keep it too, if you want."
I hand it to him, waiting for feedback. His eyes scan the drawing and I could see a pink color peeking under his mask.
"This... This is great, Himiko!" Kakashi says, looking up at me. "It looks just like me!"
"I know!" I say, nodding proudly. "I took me a couple of hours! Admire my skills! I'm a master!~"
"You are pretty great..." Kakashi says, admiring the picture again. "But... You made me too thick...~"
"What!?" I say, a blush heating across my cheeks. "I did not!"
Kakashi laughs, shrugging. "Hmm, I'm not sure..." Kakashi turns around, looking at his backside. "...What do you think?"
I stare a him in shock, eyes avoiding his 'thickness'.
"Put that away!" I say, covering my eyes. "There is a baby present!" Den yips, tongue flipping out of his mouth. Kakashi laughs, leaning against the wall next to me.
"What do you want to do today, now that the kids are taking the written exam?" Kakashi asks, crossing his arms. "I heard Asuma, Kureinai, and Gai were getting together."
"Oh yeah!" I say, gathering my stuff. "Suma said that we were invited. He wants to meet up at the barbeque place. Do you want to go?"
"..." Kakashi nods, looking down at the busy street. I frown, not understanding his change of mood.
"He wants to meet around noon, so we better hurry." I say, picking up my art case. "I have to get changed. You're welcome to come over, if you want to walk together." Kakashi nods, picking up Den in his arms. We walk to my apartment and Kakashi sits on my couch, waiting for me.
