Tear- BTS
"Words that I could not have told now flow."

Whenever I made it into the hallway, I was instantly grabbed and pulled away from the room I was in previously.
"W-Wha-?" I tug on my arm, trying to get them to release me. "Let me go."
"Shh." Itachi says, pulling me along.
"We're taking you to your suite." Kisame says cheerfully, walking behind us. I frown, following.
"Suite?"
"For some reason, the boss man have you the best room here." Kisame says, letting out a low whistle. "You must have impressed him greatly. Or he got wind that you were a princess.~"
"..." I glare at him from under my mask, Itachi's grip tightening around mine.
"He can't figure out who she is, Kisame." Itachi says, voice low. "She would be in danger."
"Why is she here then? This is danger." Kisame says, a smile still present in his tone.
"We will discuss it when we get to her room." Itachi says, his voice final.

We walk the rest of the way in silence and stoped at some point. I hear a key unlock a door and Itachi leads me into a room. He sits me down on a lavish bed, sinking into the covers. My eyes widen as I trail my hands on the silk blankets.
"What the hell..." I say under my breath, cursing my lack of eye sight. Kisame lets out a low whistle and the bed shifts as he lays on it beside were I was sitting.
"This is nice..." He says, grabbing one of the pillows. "So unfair..."
"Now..." Itachi closes the door and I hear him walk towards us. "What is your plan?"
"..." I sigh, thinking about his question before I flat out answer it. "I am going to use the name Mai. I am from a small village in Konohagakure, rank Anbu Captain and all that jazz. I am turning twenty seven in a couple of weeks and I don't have any family or friends."
"What brings you to Akatsuki?" Itachi asks, building my alibi.
"I am searching for something that I lost a long time ago." I answer, nodding. "Among other things."
"How about your eye sight?" Kisame asks, looking up at me. "You're blind right now and your eyes changed color."
"Did anyone notice?" I ask, eyes wide. "I thought I hide it pretty well."
"I don't think anyone noticed, but someone might later." Itachi says, "When you will be on missions, you might lose your sight and they wouldn't know."
"That's why I have a mask, to hide my appearance." I say, pulling it off and setting it in my lap. "This is going to work."
"We have to make it work." Itachi agrees, nodding his head.
"I'm still confused, but if Itachi-san wants it to be done I will do it." Kisame says, nodding as well.

We continue to talk for another couple of hours, until a servant came to bring us dinner. It was late, but I hadn't eaten at all. I instantly start to shovel the rice into my mouth and sigh in delight. Kisame follows my lead and Itachi sips his tea.
"How will you behave around the other members, Himi?" He asks, setting down his cup. I pause, looking up from my rice and chicken.
"I haven't decided. What do you think I should go for?" I ask, smiling at him. "I can be sweet, fun, mean, angry, cute, happy, sad, basically the whole spectrum."
"Try to be intense. I want to see you be intimidating." Kisame says, shoving some more rice in his mouth. I turn to his direction, glaring at him with blind eyes.
"You can't tell me what to do. I'm not your monkey. I will do whatever the hell I want." I say, crinkling my nose. I keep my voice low, popping out my chest in intimidation. "If you try anything like that again, I will kill you."
"...." Kisame chokes on his rice, laughing loudly. I blink, leaning back.
"What? Was that not intimidating?"
"You were yelling at the wall the entire time!" Kisame says, laughing again. I smile as well, shrugging.
"I was planning on a sweet, happy persona. That is pretty close to how I actually am. I'll just have to turn the charm up a little more." I say, taking another bite of my chicken.
"Sounds smart. The best lies are closest to the truth." Itachi says, nodding. "Now how about..."

It must have been dark by the stone they left me in my room. Itachi had dressed my arm as Kisame talked my ear off about his recent run in with random bounty hunters trying to fill their bingo book. When it came time for them to go, Itachi was reluctant to leave, but he and Kisame had a mission to go on. I told him multiple times that I'd be okay and trying to comfort him to the beat of my ability. When they were gone, they darkness around me felt bigger. I lie on my bed, looking up at the ceiling. My eyes couldn't see, so it didn't have the same effect. I sigh, a deep feeling settling in my chest. I try to choke down my tears and bury my face in a pillow, closing my eyes and praying for quick sleep.
