. . .

I open my eyes, blinking in the darkness. I sit up, looking around. The walls were made of some sort of stone and the lighting was non-existent. I pull myself to my feet, scanning the area. This isn't my apartment. There were rocks everywhere, huge boulders and rubble collapsed everywhere. My throat closes up when I recognize where I was. I stumble forward, eyes scanning the rocks.
"Obito?" I ask softly, my voice filling the silence. I walk forward, pushing a couple of rocks out of the way. I hear movement behind me and I quickly turn around, seeing a man in the distance. I instantly hide myself, concealing myself from his sight. I hear him moving rocks as well and I peek over the boulder I was behind. My eyes widen when I see the man pick up Obito's body. I jump out from my rock, charging at him.
"What are you doing?!" I yell, lunging at him. My fists pass through him, as if I were a ghost. I stumble to the ground, hitting my face on a rock. I bit my tongue, causing it to bleed. I wipe the blood off of my face, staring at it in shock. "I'm bleeding?"
The world around me spins, becoming a blur. Once it settles, I was in a different location. It was dark, just like before, but there was a small amount of light.
I walk forward, tripping over root like things on the ground. I regain my balance, looking around. My eyes land on a white bed in the distance, with someone laying on it. My gaze snags on their black hair. It was longer than before, almost to his shoulders. I run to the bed, standing next to it. His eyes were closed, but his chest moved up and down. He was breathing.
"Obito?" I ask, hand passing the through his head. My eyes trail down his body, seeing half of his chest. It was pure white, not even close to resembling his tanner skin tone.
"What is that? That's not...." I ask, looking at his face. It was scarred, lines curved around his right eye. I try to touch him again, hand resting on his scars. I could feel his skin under mine. His head leans into my touch, mumbling something inaudible. I choke on my breath, my heart breaking. Tears start to stream down my face, blurring my vision. I hear someone approaching, moving in the darkness. I freeze, turning around. There was an old man with long stark white hair. He walks closer, standing on the other side of the bed. His eyes don't even flicker to me, as if I wasn't there.
"Obito." The man says, poking his face. Obito stirs, open his right eye. My breathing starts to pick up, hyperventilating. He's alive.... Obito's alive! Obito's eyes flicker to mine, blinking.
"Himi?" He asks, seeing me. His hand reaches out for me, confused. Tears, mixed with hyperventilation, blur my vision. I reach out to him, but my vision goes black before our hands meet.

Hands were on my face, shaking me awake.
"Himiko!"
"Wake up!"
"Stop screaming, baka!"
I jolt up, hitting my forehead against someone else's.
"Ow..." I say, rubbing my head. My voice felt raw, like I had been yelling. "What the hell..." I look up, meeting the concerned gazes of my friends. Asuma shoved past Kakashi, kneeling beside me.
"Damn, Himi." Asuma says, pulling me in his arms. "Are you okay? You were screaming."
"I was?" I ask, confusion blurring my thoughts.
"Like hell you were!" Asuma says, flicking my forehead. "Scared the hell out of Den."
"Den?" I ask, looking around. Den sat on Kureinai's lap, watching me with wide eyes. My eyes flicker up to Kakashi's, seeing him staring at me with the same exspression as Den. The was a red bump on his forehead, where we collided. "What... What was I yelling about?"
"..." Asuma looks away, meeting Kureinai's eyes. They don't respond, just looking at each other.
"What?" I ask, climbing out of my brothers arms. Fear tightens its grip around my throat. "What did I say?"
"You were screaming Obito's name." Kakashi says, looking at me concerned. I blink, remembering my dream. I stumble forward, toppling into Kakashi's arms. His arms quickly wrap around me, stopping me from hitting my head on the floor.
"Are you okay, Himiko?" He asks, adjusting me in his arms. My hands brush against my face, feeling the tears that were drying on my face. I move my tongue in my mouth, finding the same wound as before.
"..." I look up at Kakashi, shocked. "What the hell type dream was that?"
"What do you mean?" Asuma asks, "What happened in your dream?"
"..." I shake my head, clearing my thoughts. "I... I need to talk to Dad."
"Why? It's five o'clock in the morning." Asuma asks, "You didn't have a vision, did you? You're not blind."
"No... It wasn't a vision..." I say, standing up from Kakashi's arms. " It... It was more like a memory..."
"A memory?" Kakashi asks, standing up next to me.
"Why do you need to talk to Dad about a memory?" Asuma asks.
"Because it wasn't mine." I say, pulling on a jacket and sandals.
"It wasn't yours?" Asuma asks, getting up. "What do you mean?"
"I'll be back later." I say, opening my door. Den watches me, his head tilted in confusion. My eyes flicker to Gai, still passed out on the floor. His snores practically shaking the apartment. No wonder he didn't wake up over my screaming. "You guys can go ahead sleep some more or make breakfast. Go ahead and eat without me."
"Wait!" Asuma says, taking a step towards me. "I'll come with you."
"I'm going by myself." I say, shaking my head. "I'll be back. Bye."
I close the door behind me, flash stepping to my father's office. He sat at his desk, shuffling around his paperwork.
