I'm going to skip most Zabuza bridge battle! Sorry, but the Chūnin exams is when the real fun starts! I'll summarize it really quick!

Song- Warriors by Imagine Dragons
"As a child, you would wait and watch from far away. But you always knew that you'd be the one to work while they all play. You, you'd lay awake at night and scheme of all the things that you would change, but it was just a dream. Here we are, don't turn away now. We are the warriors that build this town. Here we are, don't turn away now. We are the warriors that built this town, from dust."

"Try."

That's all I've been doing. Trying. Trying to be the best Sensei I can. Trying to make everyone happy. Trying to make the world better. Trying to breathe.

"I am trying." I whisper, eyes still trained on the soap.
"I'm trying too, Himiko." Kakashi says, voice soft. "Don't forget that."
Slowly, I raise my eyes to his. He smiled softly, eyes crinkling.
"...You're such a dork..." I say, looking away and trying to hide my smile.
"Your words are like a kunai to my heart, Himiko... It hurts." Kakashi says, puting the back of his hand against his forehead. "How must I go on?"
A laugh escapes through my lips and I quickly slam my hand against my mouth. "I will not give you the satisfaction of drawing a laugh from my mouth, Kakashi!" I say, pointing my finger at him. "Stop being a dork!"
He laughs, pushing himself off the door. "You're so mean."
"I'll show you mean if you don't let me out of this bathroom, Kashi." I growl playfully, glaring at him. He shivers, quickly escaping the bathroom. I laugh, walking out behind him.

Bridge Battle summary?!

Himiko, Kakashi, Sasuke, and Sakura went to the bridge with Tazuna. Zabuza, the demon in the mist, showed up with a partner, Haku. Kakashi and Zabuza had started to battle, leaving Himiko and Sakura to protect Tazuna as Sasuke fought Haku. Himiko itched to help him, but Kakashi insisted on her staying put. Mist surrounded the bridge and, at some point in time, Naruto had appeared from no where. Naruto ended up getting caught in Haku's ice mirrors, along with Sasuke. As the mist grew too thick, Himiko found herself fighting alongside Kakashi. They worked back to back, battling the demon. Zabuza praised Himiko, surprised that she was no longer blind. Himiko had laughed at him, saying that she preferred not being able to see his face. She was only taunting, he wasn't unattractive- in a weird way. Kakashi had used his Ninken to track Zabuza in the mist, pinning him down. Before Kakashi could end Zabuza with Chidori, Haku jumped in front of the jab. It had pierced through his chest, promising a sure death. Zabuza was shocked, as well as Himiko. Haku have his life for someone who had treated him in such a way. Seeing Haku's sacrifice, Zabuza turned his pain and rage onto Gato's men. He showed Himiko what a real demon looks like, one with swords and knifes sticking out of his back. He didn't let any of this stop him as he ended Gato's life. Slowly, Zabuza's life faded from his eyes, but not until after Kakashi and Himiko laid him next to Haku. It started to snow and the mist was clear from the bridge. Zabuza died, watching the snow desend from the heavens, where Haku probably was. There was no need to celebrate their win. Even after fighting against Zabuza, it felt like the world had just lost a great shinobi. Sakura raced to Sasuke, seeing him looking like a porcupine. She started to wail, thinking he was dead. Himiko carefully pulled a couple of senbon. The long needles missed any vital points. After all the needles were removed, Himiko healed all the remaining wounds and Sasuke woke up soon after. He had even thanked Himiko. Inari had managed to gather his whole village to fight against Gato's men, but they were a little too late. Himiko and the team buried Zabuza and Haku side by side, leaving Zabuza's executioner's blade next to his grave. Out of gratitude, Tazuna named his bridge after Naruto. The Great Uzumaki Bridge. I'm sure Minato-Sensei would be proud.

Haku and Zabuza's beautiful relationship!?

Returning back to the village was the best thing that happened to me all week. Laying in my bed and getting a full night of sleep was a close second. We instantly got back into the old groove of things, pulling weeds and babysitting. Just the way I liked it. This time, we even got to walk dogs! Naruto, of course, choose the largest one. I held a cute Shiba Inu in my arms, it's head rests lazily on my shoulder as it naps. The big dog was currently dragging Naruto around.
"Are you sure you don't want any help, Ruto?" I ask, rubbing my cheek against the soft fur of the Shiba. "I can teach you how to get them to listen."
"I can do it, Himi-Sensei!" He yells as the dog drags him to a mine field. "Believe it!"
I watch as mines go off, seemingly to only affect Naruto.
"Yep. I believe in you, Ruto!!" I yell, grinning. "You've made me a very proud sensei!"
He stumbles out of the minefield, coughing smoke. He gives me a weak thumbs up, the dog quickly dragging him off again.
"What a loser." Sasuke said, holding a small brown dog on a leash. I smile, rocking the sleeping puppy in my arms.
"Why did you choose the smallest one?" I ask, bumping my nose with my adorable dog. "Naruto's always trying to prove himself, Sasuke. In a way, you're the same."
Sasuke huffed, looking away with narrowed eyes. "What ever."
I laugh, nudging him with my elbow. "Don't what ever me, young man. I'll have you know, I'm around 13 years older than you. I expect some respect!"
"Tsk." Sasuke looks away, a ghost of a smile flickering across his lips.
"I saw that, Sasuke!" I say, my puppy yiping in agreement. "Kakashi! Did you see that?"
"Hmm?" He look at us, eyes flickering between Sasuke and me. "...Yes?"
"Yes! Of course you did!" I grin, the puppy in my arms yipping in excitement. My heart melts when I look at the squirming puppy in my arms. "That's it. I've decided."
"Decided what?" Sasuke asks, walking his dog next to me.
"I've decided that I'm lonely and I need a puppy." I say, nodding in determination.
"You're lonely?" Sasuke asks, lifting an eyebrow.
"You heard me correctly." I say, pointing a finger at him and posing dramatically with the puppy in my arms. "I want to come home to a bundle of joy! I want to sleep with a pile of fluff! I need a companion!"
"..." Sasuke sweat-drops, glancing at Kakashi for support.
"Uh, Himiko..." Kakashi rubs his neck, shrugging.
"Maybe you should just get a boyfriend." Naruto says, the dog dragging him back.
"A boyfriend? Why would I want one of those?" I ask, kissing the puppies nose. "When I could get one of these?"
"Ew, Himi. Don't kiss the dog." Naruto say, nose crinkling.
"A dog's mouth is cleaner than yours, Naruto. Their saliva kills bacteria..." I grin, tilting my head. "Maybe you're just jealous? Do you want a kiss too?"
Naruto quickly shakes his head, a blush heating across his cheeks.
"Hmm. That hurts my feelings, Naruto." I frown, walking away from the group. "It's not like I'm going to go home and cry myself to sleep or anything...."
"Way to go, Naruto!" Sakura says, hitting on his head. "Girls are sensitive about that!"
"Wha?! How was I supposed to know that?!" Naruto says, rubbing his head.
"Woe is me." I say, trying to hide my smile. "Woe is me."
