It's been a while since an extra, so let's do this! This takes place when Naruto and the team are older! After the war! Himiko and Kakashi are married and they have a baby on the way! Enjoy!
(I don't know why I use so many exclamation points! It's probably a bad habit!!!)

Also! I'm writing this chapter a little different. There will be different stages, with short scenes. The Obito version will be out next!

The news

"W-What the hell?!" I gape at the doctor in shock, Kakashi's hand finding mine instantly. "Are you sure?"
The doctor smiles, nodding.
"Yes."
Tears start forming in my eyes and I laugh. Kakashi pulls me to him, wrapping his arms around me. He beams at me, estatic.
"That's great news, Miko!" He whispers excitedly. I nod, tears streaming down my face. I couldn't quite find words, but the pure happiness in my heart was enough.
"We'll have to schedule an appointment soon to check on how things are progressing." The doctor says, starting to list off a bunch of information. Kakashi listens with rapt attention and I could barely hear the doctor over the blood rushing in my ears. Lost in my own thoughts, I didn't even hear the doctor leave.

"Let's go tell the kids, Miko." Kakashi says, taking my hand and guilding me up from the chair. He wraps an arm around my waist, holding me close as we make our way back out to the waiting room. I instantly found three familiar faces huddled together. A pinkett, a blonde, and a ravenett. The blonde instantly looks up at me, brilliant blue eyes wide with questions.
"Himi! What's the news?!" He yells, rushing over to Kakashi and me.
"Tsk." The ravenett stands as well, walking towards us calmly. His eyes find mine, worry sparking in his dark orbs. "What did the doctor say?"
"Did they use an ultrasound?" The pinkett asks, her jade eyes wide in wonder. Kakashi and I wait patiently for her to join us to tell them the news.

"We're going to have twins." Kakashi says, nonchalantly. I smile, nodding in agreement. Sakura gapes at us, frozen in shock. A smile spreads across Sasuke's face as he stares at my larger stomach in wonder. Naruto, on the other hand, was losing it.
"Twins?! Two?! I'm going to have two little siblings! Do you know their genders?!" Naruto asks, jumping up and down. "I want a boy! Two boys!"
"I want girls!" Sakura says, unfreezing herself. "There are already too many boys!"
". . ." Sasuke shakes his head. "It doesn't matter what gender they are."
"The doctor told us already." I say, hands clasped around my belly. "Do you guys want to guess?"
"Two boys!" Naruto says, pumping his arms.
"Two girls!" Sakura counters, glaring at him. Sasuke keeps quiet, hand reaching out and laying flat against my stomach. His thumb rubs my belly once and then he pulls away, nodding.
"Naruto is right." He says, calmly. "They are boys."
"Hell yeah, I am- wait... Huh?" Naruto stops, gaping at us. "I am?"
"Yep. Two boys." I confirm, beaming at my kids. "We're going to have our hands full!"

The nursery

"No! That doesn't go there, baka!" Sakura yells, hitting Naruto on the head with an Allen wrench. He glares at her, rubbing the new bump on his head.
"Really? Then where does it go?" He asks, sitting on the fluffy white carpet. Sakura turns to Sasuke, who was holding the instructions.
"Where does this part go, Sasuke?" She asks, holding up Naruto's part. Sasuke doesn't even glance up from the paper.
"Where Naruto tried to put it, but on the other side." He says, leaned against the small loveseat that I sat on.
He hasn't left my side much since we've learned about the pregnancy. He's adamant on keeping close, just in case anything happens. Kakashi is the same way, but he doesn't even leave my side. It's cute, the way they both obsess over me. Naruto is the most excited about having two babies and Sakura is already reading about how to be an amazing older sister. It brings a warm feeling to my chest, watching my kids preparing for our soon to be family. They were all just as nervous as Kakashi and I.

"How's it coming together?" Kakashi asks, carrying a bowl of ice cream with Den trotting on his heels. I beam at my husband and his eyes close as he smiles back at me.
"They're almost done! It's only taken them an hour or so." I tell him, humbly bragging about my previous students. They had the crib almost finished, three of the legs on. Kakashi laughs, handing me my bowl. He'd taken the liberty of drizzling caramel and dark chocolate over the loaded dark chocolate chip black cherry ice cream. I take a spoonful and set it on my tongue, sighing in content.
Den bumps his body against my leg, fluffy tail wagging. I reach down and give him a good rub, laughing as he collapses at my feet beside Sasuke. He puts his large head in Sasuke's lap and Sasuke pets behind his ears. Kakashi sits beside me and I curl up against him. He settles his arm around my waist and rests his forehead on the side of my head. I smile, taking another bite of my frozen craving. His lips brush against my cheek, with his mask tickling my skin. I was basically glowing with happiness, thinking that my life couldn't really get any better.

First kick/ Pregnancy Pains

I woke up to a sharp kick in my swollen belly. At first, I was frozen in shock and thought that I'd imagined it. Then it happens again and my eyes widen in wonder. My hand reaches out and rests on my husband's face, nudging him gently.
"Kashi!" I whisper urgently, other hand resting on my stomach. "Wake up! They're kicking!" His eyes flutter open and his lips tug up slightly as he scans my face in the darkness.
"W... What did you say, Miko?"
He asks, voice husky with sleep. I beam at him, grabbing his hand and settling it on my belly.
"They're kicking!" I tell him, elation soaking through my voice. He blinks slowly and I feel a good kick towards the right. His eyes go wide awake and his lips pull all the way up. He settles both of his hands on my stomach and smiles at me, his eyes crinkling in his beautiful way.
"That's crazy, Himiko.." He trails off, scooting closer against me. His arms wrap around my waist and pull me close against him. His face nuzzles into the crook of my neck and I feel his lips tilt up in a smile.
"Try and get some sleep before they keep you up." He whispers to me, hot breath against my skin. I nod, relaxing against him as the kicking calms down.

A Week Later

I groan, spread across the bed with my limbs taking up a ton of space. I glare at the ceiling as my little boys wreak havock inside my stomach.
"Boys, it was cute before but now I really just need to sleep." I say aloud, rubbing my stomach soothingly. "Daddy isn't here tonight, so I would really appreciate it if we could focus on getting some sleep. It's hard for me to sleep without him."
Silence was my response, lead by a small kick in my belly. I sigh, curling up on my side. I scoot a little into Kakashi's side of the bed, letting his scent wash over me. Calm sinks into me and the movement inside of me drifts away as sleep decides to stake it's claim.

-I think I'm going to just skip right past the delivery... I'm not super into writing the details of that-

I'll write a part two later! It'll deal with their children as toddlers, elementary school, Genin, and teenagers. Look forward to it! Part two will have a drawing of their kids!
